There are a lot of people who don't know what the word 'emo' means. I've seen Rage Against the Machine, Killswitch Engage, Dragonforce and Iron Maiden be refered to as emo before. :lol:

Itunes says differently.... emo= emotional. Isnt all music supposed to be emotional? But emo is classified as the world is against me...

You can go ahead and argue BS semantics all day long. My Chemical Romance is a bunch of whiny ass c-words who sings about death and sadness, that, in my book, qualifies as emo any day. Sorry but the word "emo"'s original meaning is insignificant, mainstream media has already butchered it.

they're not emo they're pop emo, they're for people who follow the trends but arn't real emo

it's the same with any genre, anyone on the outside won't even have heard of the top bands

my opinion is all music is "emo" as it touches your emotions listening. But emo is a personality, not a genre of music imo, since that is what emo is..
