I think popular opinion is shifting. More people in this country now support same-sex marriage. I think that's why the president changed his stance.

I am against gay marriage, but believe it or not, I'm not against gay marriage from a religious standpoint. I mean, yeah I think being gay is a sin but I understand the separation of church and state.

I am honestly against gay marriage because I think that it is can negatively impact the moral fabric of our society. Now, I'm not saying gay people are immoral but I feel the legitimacy of recognizing gay marriages can skew morals.
