Oh my God why are people so slow at counting votes.
GabuEx
Because they need to give themselves time to stuff the ballot box if necessary. :P

Polls are now closed in a ****load of states (eastern South Dakota, eastern Kansas, Oklahoma, eastern Texas, Missouri, Illinois, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Michigan, Pennsylvania, western Florida, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, DC, Connecticut, Massachusetts, cities in New Hampshire, and Maine).

Ohio called for the Republicans right off the bat.
No surprises there.
Gabu what site are you getting the results from? (I've been using NYT but they seem to be a bit slower updating).
CNN.
I'm watching CNN too. Boy oh boy Illinois is close!!!Polls are now closed in a ****load of states (eastern South Dakota, eastern Kansas, Oklahoma, eastern Texas, Missouri, Illinois, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Michigan, Pennsylvania, western Florida, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, DC, Connecticut, Massachusetts, cities in New Hampshire, and Maine).

CNN wasted no time in calling Delaware. Remember when Mike Castle was going to be the next senator from Delaware? Thank you Christine O'Donnell.
EDIT: Not sure if they've officially called it, actually.
Conn. called for Coons and that could be the one seat that Republicans will regret (by nominating O"Donnell instead of Castle) in the future.
Senator-Elect Paul (R-KY)is going to Washington, D.C.
Ultimas_Blade
I still can't believe that Rand Paul is going to be a senator... :(
I am watching the election on BBC: "Americans are going to regret voting the Republicans in in two weeks". Really BBC? In two weeks? I don't think so.
Ultimas_Blade
Honestly a vote for Republicans at this point is a vote for gridlock at this point given their record. Politicians have to work together giving and taking from one another to get things done.
The buyer's remorse will come sooner than two weeks if it becomes apparent that the Establishment Republicans successfully make their new wing fall in line. The lobbyists will come, the debt ceiling will be increased, the Tea Party base will get pissed off at the politics as usual, elected Tea Party Republicans will stop caring about their constituents and more about their re-elections, which with Citizen United, any Tea Partier that goes lone wolf and acts on principle will be PRIMARIED out of his seat by a willing pawn.
Not true. Everything we say at this point is assumptions. Republican moved to the middle with Clinton in the 90's so they can do it again, who knows? Even if voting for the Republicans means that the congress locks up, I rather have that then see more Democrats get elected. We gave them two years and look at the crap they passed. We would be better off without that health "reform" than with it. But I don't want to get off topic. All I am saying is that it's going to take more than 2 weeks for people to regret their vote. That is assuming they're going to regret it at all.I just hope not to many Tea party candidates win, especially Sharron Angle.

Agreed, especially on Sharron Angle as well...
Fun Fact: Mikulski (D-MD) is currently down 6% and has been called as the winner. Obviously of course only 1% of votes are in. :P
Manchin's up 9%, admittedly with only 5% reporting.

Obama lead in Utah with 1% of the vote. Fun things can happen at that level. :P
Of course, I just found it amusing. :P
And now with 2% reporting, Mikulski leads by 8%.

Without naming the mandate, what in the healthcare reform do you oppose?

Oh that's easy! But for the sake of personal amusement, I won't let him copy my answers. :P

Oh that's easy! But I won't interrupt, this is interesting.
I'll get to you later :x You're actually a sane conservative with sounder arguments. :P I was looking to see if I was going to get serious criticism or paper-thin talking points.

It's inefficient. I have had this discussion far too many times and am not going to start a debate about it in this topic. I am sure there will other topics for it to be discussed.
LANDSLIDE VICTORY! Sestak is up 99% to 1% in Pennsylvania!
With 962 votes in :P
chessmaster1989Lol, I see what you did there :P
I could've made that O'Donnell/Coons projection about a month ago. GabuEx
The Republicans could've had a serious shot at taking back the Senate with Castle as their candidate; I'm still a bit shocked at how they so completely threw that seat away.
Yeah, I think O'Donnell did more for Coons than anything Coons' own campaign could've done.
Dear God, Rand Paul? Oh wait... Kentucky. :PfidosimGonna be a lot of head stomping in D.C. 8)Not funny man :( If a Tea Partier got stomped there would be outrage. Let the Politicians be our punching bags (verbally anyway), but lets leave activists out of that.
It's been called on Real clear politics. Why in the world has GA not been called for Isakson yet?
Yeah, Christine O'Donnell is definitely a witch.

So she does weigh the same as a duck!
And if she weighs as much as a duck, she's made of wood...
