lol I so don't care.Based on the explanation (narrated by Morgan Freeman) on sound editing and mixing, how the hell did Avatar not win Best Sound Editing and Mixing?
Considering Avatar's sound people had to create these sounds from complete scratch, from nothing. They had to create new sounds for every living thing in Pandora. All of the machines, the Na'Vi sound effects, everything. So how did The Hurt Locker, which consisted simply of mixing and shooting guns and explotions win? It makes no sense.
It does show that The Hurt Locker will sweep this.

Bullock's lipstick is a bit of an eyesore, but she still looks nice.
Avatar totally deserved best cinematography.
How the hell can Avatar win Best Cinematography? Cinematography is having knowledge of cameras and being able to use them to get the look you want for a tangible scene... They just made stuff on computers for Avatar...dreDREb13because they still have to make good camera choices in a 3D space.
[QUOTE="t3hrubikscube"]Gotta say, I've never liked James Taylor...at ALL. pygmahia5lmao. u say this right after his sad song about dead people??!! i admire that. Hahaha, well I found him to be distracting! The montage was fine, but I couldn't help but be annoyed by James Taylor. :x

There Will Be Blood had incredible cinematography. Sadly, Avatar would've been chosen over that if they went against each other.
I actually think TWBB should've lost to Jesse James in cinematography that year. :P
[QUOTE="martialbullet"][QUOTE="Jazz_Fan"]WTF? Avatar won best cinematography? Wow, just wow.Jazz_FanNerd_Man will get you good. What do you mean? I dunno :(
But I still say Avatar's got fine cinematography almost in line with some of the best HK martial arts flicks.
[QUOTE="martialbullet"][QUOTE="scorch-62"]Why was Michael Jackson in the montage? :?scorch-62Errr...uhh... MIB2? Oh, yes. How could I have forgotten that five second appearance of his? No, no, no. It was freakin' 10 seconds I tell ya! That's a lot!
Was Farrah Fawcett in that dead person tribute? That seems kinda weird to leave her out.JML897A majority of her work was for television.
