considering that your post implies that you have earned all your money with zero aid from the federal government (which by the way you have not) I would argue that your post is most certainly ignorant enough that you are wasting you're time when you say something like that.
If you can't comprehend that you use government created facilities such as roads just to get to work everyday and you wouldn't be able to do that job without the education that was funded from federal taxes than I just feel sorry for you. I wouldn't urge you to leave simply because you have a higher chance of staying completely ignorant of the way the world actually works if you do so.

Are all roads built with federal tax money? Funny, I thought my state, county and city collected taxes locally to build the vast vast majority of the miles of roads I use on a daily basis.
When I went through the public school system, there was no federal funding of primary public education. It was a function of the state and local school districts.
Go back to my original post. Why is the federal govt involved in the education of the children in my state? Is the assumption that if the feds were not there, medling in our education system, that the people of my state cannot be trusted to properly educate their children?
The federal money "given" to my state to subsidize our public education system does not materialize out of thin air. It is originally collected from the people in the form of taxes. That money then gets funneled throught the massive, inefficient beauracracy of Washington DC, and what hasn't stuck to their fingers comes back to us in the form of federal aid for schools, with all sorts of strings attached.
The gross inefficiency of our current system of the federal govt confiscating wealth from the citizens of the various states, funneling that money through the federal beauracracy, then sending what is left over back to the states, to perform public functions the state is perfectly capable of performing without the involvement of the federal govt is obvious...............at least to some of us.
