I, too, would commit adultery with her.

You'd be sentencing her to a harsh punishment, just to dip your wick....

Cretin:

1. a person suffering from cretinism

2.a stupid, obtuse and mentally defective person.

Your statement was very cretinous

Ilovegames1992

No it wasn't. You seem to think that anyone who doesn't hold your view is a cretin apparently.

Hmm no. Just that statement was retarded and made you look a ming-mong.

No. You just can't seem to grasp that in many cultures you don't mess around when you're married and that you get punished for it.

I hope she does. And you have to watch her get lashed.

I'd agree but i'm sure there's some sh!t in there.

Also, doesn't Jesus go crazy and rage out when he enters that temple full of sin? He's like flipping over tables and sh!t.

LJS9502_basic

There's so much evil **** in there, you'd have to be daft or brainwashed to not see it.

In the NT genius? Show me some......

"Do not think that I came to bring peace on Earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I came to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a man's enemies will be the members of his household. He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me. He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it."

I can post many more, if you'd like.

I was thinkingmore of their attitude towards contraception and how they lie and say condoms don't protect against STDs and how abstinence is the way forward.

But you raised a good point as well. They should allow gay marriage and stop lieing about how its "evil" and "unnatural"

I'm pretty sure what was implied here is that you should love Jesus more than anyone else.

And instead of wasting my time, debating with you (we all know how terrible you are at it).

Here you go. Plenty of quotes from both the old and new tastement. If you think they're just peachy, fine with me. But I think they're horrible. I have nothing more to add.

Meaning? Vague responses aren't really helping here....I have no idea what you're referring to with your comments. Gay marriage perhaps? That seems to be your interest. Churches have a right to their ideologies. Societies will decide on their own what laws they want to institute. Though I can tell you that marriage does not enhance love. You either have love or you don't. I do think the benefits should be the same before you get all emo on me.:P

That was one individual. You shouldn't blame the entire population for what one individuals said. Condoms are allowed now so I don't see why you bring that up. They've adapted to society. However, their initial reason against them was because they believe every life is sacred. Image how peaceful the world would be if people practiced that? And again....gay marriage in society is not up to the church but those who draft the laws and how society thinks at any given time. And I can tell you that many people I've come across that are anti gay are not religious. So it's foolhardy to believe that ONLY religion is against this issue.

Thats the problem with religion in a nutshell.

At the end of the day, its down to one person or an elite group's discretion. In a perfect world, people would follow the peaceful sentiments, but to be honest, the Pope tells Catholics to bomb abortion clinics, they would.

One person has more power than the basis of the religion.

[QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"]So you don't know what that means? It means it will divide people on ideology....not fighting. His response to violence was to love your enemy and turn the other cheek. You seem to miss those scriptures now don't you?LJS9502_basic

Annoys me that hardly anyone of Jesus' followers actually listen to him.

Makes me a sad panda.

That's a different issue though. Shouldn't be that Christianity is blamed for what individuals choose. The message is one of love and peace.

There is no clear message. You say it is, while others can easily argue that it isn't. Religion is inherently flawed that way. Maybe it's time for a third Testament, and this time, be clear about it.

[QUOTE="m25105"] Yes, that quote of me shows that I'm a violent person. Did it ever occurred to you, that it means I'd never give my wife a reason to cheat on me? No? It's more fun throwing out accusations? Oh, alright. I didn't know that was the game being played here.paratheos

But what if she does?

She wont...because of the implications.

You sound almost evil now.

[QUOTE="m25105"][QUOTE="toast_burner"]Well you seem very certain that nobody would dare cheat on you. That does imply that you are a violent person.

You could just tell us why nobody would cheat on you, and what you would do if they did.

She won't. It's called confidence that I'm secure enough to know that my wife, won't ever have a reason to cheat on me. Also there's something called forgiveness.

I'm pretty sure what was implied here is that you should love Jesus more than anyone else.

And instead of wasting my time, debating with you (we all know how terrible you are at it).

.evilbible

Here you go. Plenty of quotes from both the old and new tastement. If you think they're just peachy, fine with me. But I think they're horrible. I have nothing more to add.

ColdExistence

I'm not terrible at debating. Those that say that are those that haven't got two brain cells to rub together. That idea started from a couple butt hurt individuals that couldn't debate without their argument getting shredded. And to save one's pride it's easy to make ill informed posts and then assume the person providing a counterpoint is not able to do so. I guess your e-peen is at stake her.

What was implied was that Jesus knew not everyone would accept him and it would divide families. Period. If you cannot read the entire scripture.....and only half ass what it says to suit your agenda then you are, in fact, ignorant of the message stated. He does mention division of families right after your text. But if you don't quote mine the Bible then you might not be able to present something.

As for evil bible.....yay let's all go to a biased source that quote mines and lifts things out of context to brainwash people....somewhat like you seem to be and now I know why you don't understand the bible.

Most married couples get divorced, how many of them do you think thought that they would have been together till death do them part? (HINT: The majority of them)

The odds are against you

Thats the problem with religion in a nutshell.

At the end of the day, its down to one person or an elite group's discretion. In a perfect world, people would follow the peaceful sentiments, but to be honest, the Pope tells Catholics to bomb abortion clinics, they would.

One person has more power than the basis of the religion.

The pope doesn't....and I don't think that's true of today. Otherwise people wouldn't be doing what the church says they shouldn't. If you can't follow the teaching on waiting until marriage for sex then I don't think something so major as murder can be orchestrated.

I used the Pope as a blanket term for religious leaders.

I honestly think they weild so much power and its all up to their discretion.
