School cancels prom because of Lesbian couple

I could go on and on with stories but just go to google and type in "student(s) suspended for... and you'll get all kinds of examples of why school officials probably use the least common sense out of any profession out there. I feel so bad for her and generally the students at the school.

I've lost all hope for humanity. Excuse me while I stick a gun in my mouth.

Being gay or lesbian is not a call for attention. If anyone is seeking attention, it's the overreaction (saying the very least, in the most generous way) of the school board that is it.

High school prom is lame anyway.

I hope they realize that at the last Prom there were probably Lesbian or Gay couples. :(

Straight people don't have "Straight Pride parades" because their is no ill-conceived notions that heterosexuality is "wrong", "evil", "immoral". It comes from a time where it was basically illegal to be gay.
