Shame on you people saying they deserve more time in prison. They made a stupid decision and they obviously regret it.

They regret being caught, and they know full well that things will go even harder on them if they show no remorse. Breaking into the house was a stupid decision. Putting the cat in the microwave was a stupid decision. But turning the microwave on and watching the cat suffer for 10 minutes until it died was no mistake.
