But I think they should get more for breaking and entering.

wth you guys say they should get a death sentence for killing a cat but when it comes to a human, not death.

That makes absolutely no sense.

tricky one but breaking and entering alone on 3 ocasions demands about 1 year each then, they then stole items so that' another year, destruction of property partnered with the grafity adds up to another year then maybe another 2 as they're repeating offenders and the cat thing. So that's 7 years in total.

Specifically for the cat thing maybe putting them in solatary with the constent sound of a cat crying out in pain 24/7 for a week, that should stop them doing it again.

Hunting is necasary for food and is done in the most humane way as possible, i don't think cooking an animal alive is classed as humane in the slightest

maybe a bit over the top will, they deserve 7 years atleast not including how they killed the cat but i don't think longer would have any increased efect it would just cost more. Playing screaming cats through speakers in solitary for a week or so 24/7 should stop them doing it ever again. If they torture another animal or human for entertainment then they get the death penalty, it's would only be a matter of time before it escalates to more serious crimes like GBH or murder.

MEAT IS SO DAMN TASTY, how could anyone not want to eat it!?!?

but I digress...yes, its a tragedy....no, the kids dont deserve more than 1 year in jail.

if theyre raised and slaughtered humanely (as most places that raise animals for consumption do), and the cat is dead when you cook, no...to be honest, I dont have a problem with that. I dont think it would taste too good, though, but hey...everything is worth trying once.
