I believe that the unborn child has a right to life also. I only think that an abortion can be justified under certain circumstances.

1: the mother's life and overall health is at stake

2: the child is going to die of some horrible disease in childhood anyway

This also includes the male partner if he has anything to do with it. Also it should be public record that the operation was performed and paying extra taxes every year. A fetus isn't considered fully human until it's fully developed. Depending on his preference of the definition of a fetus, it could very well be an animal to him.

Fine, let's go by the survival of the fittest theory you are trying to use as a reason. Why can't I go out and kill some weak, defenseless person if I am mightier? Why can't we just kill off humans with genetic disorders, or at least prevent them from reproducing? They are clearly only passing on unwanted traits. But we don't do that. So don't try and play the "Survival of the fittest" here. Also, might I add while animals can't talk, they certainly can communicate.

We'll still never know, you know why? Because we aren't animals and we never will be. We'll never have a full understanding of anything we humans don't create ourselves.

I think they should, though sometimes I hear people make very good points against it. For instance, suppose a person drives drunk and slams into another car. If the person in the other car is pregnant, and the fetus dies, it is considered mansluaghter, but when the women "chooses", its just her choice.

Bottom line for me however, is I am man, I don't think I should make these descision for women. Plus, there are some really good examples for abortion, such as if the women was raped and gets pregnant. Should the woman have to raise a rapists baby? Or what about if the women's life is on the line?

Really complicated subject...

That's true, but scientist have confirmed some animals *are* intelligent and *do* communicate with eachother. There are some primates that can even learn sign language and communicate with humans.

I'm just gonna say the only reason kids enjoy life is because we tell them too from very young ages. The fetus has no choice in any matters until they're a young child, sometimes older.
