alright, so I've done some more research, and have found almost no evidence that says Horus had any of the traits presented early in the film. Nothing about being born on Dec. 25th, nothing about 12 disciples, nothing about being crucified, nothing about performing miracles such as healing the sick and walking on water, nothing about being baptized, nothing about starting a ministry at age 30.

Almost all of it is lies. Nearly none of it is truth.

The only thing that might count as a similarity between Thor and Christ was that Thor was "the people's god". Even then, that is a vague and obscure similarity the creator of the documentary used to benefit his propoganda. Zalmoxis of the Thracians also shared no similarities with Jesus. The only similarity that might count is the fact that Zalmoxis retreated into an underground cavern for a few years, and returned later. I'd like to know why you are so slavishly promoting this movie...it seems as though you have a vested interest in "enlightening" people. And just because the books you mentioned (such as "The God Delusion") are the top sellers doesn't make them any more factual. The number one book in Germany just prior to WWII was Mein Kampf. I'd like to know why you are so slavishly promoting this movie...it seems as though you have a vested interest in "enlightening" people. And just because the books you mentioned (such as "The God Delusion") are the top sellers doesn't make them any more factual. The number one book in Germany just prior to WWII was Mein Kampf. The thesis is interesting (that Christianity evolved from Astrological and Pagan traditions) however I see little harm in believing in a Supreme Being and living a Biblically virtuous life if one so chooses. I don't understand why some atheists so vehemetly try to convert people to nihilism and hedonism...
