Defending yourself does not equal killing someone you retard....

He did not shoot the guy in the head or anything, he acted in self-defense. If I was being attacked WHILE RETREATING, by SEVERAL people I would also have defended myself with a firearm (if I had one).

I... I wouldn't shoot the teen, I would've shot the sky in order to scare them. If that doesn't scare them I would shoot while running.

As I said he hit the person who was assaulting him, therefore it was a responsible shot. Now if he shot at the kid but missed and hit a neighbor then that would have been irresponsible.

Guns give people the right to defend themselves.

Guns are not the answer. I personally would not own one considering I'm well capable of handling people without one. Things can and will go wrong and when guns get thrown in the mix, people get hurt or die. The pizza man has a right to defend himself but he could have had a non-lethal deterrant instead. Could have spared a life of a young man who did a stupid thing.

A gun is just a better way to defend yourself. And ever heard of "self-defense"? That is legal murder. Killing is not illegal, that is why the man is not going to jail - what he did was OK.

And no, they wouldn't have. They probably thought 4 on 1 was enough, and would only need a pistol if the man has a gun as well.
