I am not a huge fan of the taste, but I still drink it.
Budweiser is my favourite beer.

[QUOTE="MrGeezer"]Oh...you think that just because two things taste bad means that they taste similar?
Um...so by that logic, you're saying that beer tastes similar to bread chicken livers?
Things that taste bad can still taste VASTLY different. Things that taste good can taste VASTLY different. It doesn't MATTER if you think all beer tastes bad, THEY DO NOT ALL TASTE SIMILAR. A belgian style white beer does NOT taste similar to a brown ale. They taste VASTLY different. And if you really can't tell a significant difference, then I feel very sorry for you.

Holy crap. You're going off the deep end, dude. I said they all have that similar "beer" taste and smell. See, you're not comprehending my posts. NO, Heineken and Spinach do not taste the same, even though they are both nasty as hell.
This is getting ridiculous.
And like I said before, that's ****ing stupid. You're saying that they both taste similar because they're both beer.
That's stupid.
Does chicken taste similar to beef because they both have a "meat taste"?
Does chardonnay taste similar to shiraz because they both taste like wine?
OF COURSE they both taste and smell like beer, BECAUSE THEY ARE BOTH BEER. However, that means nothing, given the VAST variety of different beers.

I never said anything you just said. I didn't say they taste similar because they're both beer, I said they taste similar. Period. And the similarity could be referred to as that "beer" taste, simply because it's a taste that all beers (besides Guiness) seem to share. You're pulling my words way out of context.
You keep getting worse. I think I'll just sit back and watch you completely bomb from here on out.
Because beer is just plain disgusting (And barberic...), anything that isn't elegant red wine or alchool with a content of 40% and + is not drinkable to my standards.ahriman2
So, you would drink things like Popov or Jose Cuervo over say, an amazing local brewed ale?
I will pray for you tonight.
Beer is wonderful. It is the elixir of the gods. Ambrosia.

This be a real man, and he speaketh the truth!
If I add orange juice with a 40oz beer, would it make the alchohol give you less of a buzz or will it stay the same? GSWarriors-Wouldn't matter. You're still ingesting the same amount of alcohol. Unless you haven't eaten for a while. Then the orange juice might slow down your absorption of the alcohol.

There's nothing brewed around here that tastes any good and i would drink Popov.... In the occasion that you give me allot of money and some drugs that'll make me think that I'm drinking the blood of christ.

But everything with a high alcohol content tastes similar because "it has that alcohol taste".
The hell? No. Tell me a Vodka martini tastes like white rum, or that triple sec tastes like vodka, or that Dissanoro taste like Jamaican Rum. That's what i thought, they don't.
Now I never tasted ****(poop) before but I'd imagine it tastes bad like beer. I've tried budweiser, corona and after 6 months of drinking my first beers, i tried samuel adams summer ale flavor cause people said it tasted good but that nasty **** tasted the same. How can anyone drink that bitter crap?GSWarriors-
you are drinking american beers, that's the first problem right there.

I use to say that all the time when i was younger, now i love the stuff :)
[QUOTE="Lukanot"]It depends how young you are, if your like 12 then obviously you wont like it, but it definently grows on you

Nah...had my first beer at 15, kept drinking until I was about 24...still have a brew every once in a long while...and the whole time, I never "acquired" a taste for it. It's always nasty. All that happens is you get used to it, so it becomes LESS NASTY, but NEVER tasty.
"Acquired taste" is a lie agreed upon. Why do you think so many people say that EXACT phrase? Cause it's the drinkers' excuse...and they're all sticking to it.
But liquor is even worse...yuck. Red wine is the only alcohol that tastes good to me.
i dont think people drink beer for the taste :? ReaperV7
You're right, they don't. People who say they like the taste are lying. It's an excuse for the habit.
They might as well say, "I love the way moldy bread tastes! And rotten meat! No, really! I do! I guess I'm just different than you guys."
you know what? you're right. to think that anyone ever drinks alcohol and would actually like the taste of it? ridiculous!
Eating while drinking beer can also help if you aren't used to the taste.
I have come to realize exactly why you see so many men eating hot-dogs and drinking beer at baseball games. It is a combo of the GOD'S!!!!
I hate beer, it's nasty.
Rum and coke is OK. It's manly to drink that right? I need to get my manliness back!
cametall
LMAO rum and coke is a very popular drink.
I myself need to try root beer and vanilla vodka at some point. The idea of an alcoholic root beer float sounds AWESOME!!!
I'm not old enough to even have tried it, so I can't say. :PCube_of_MooN
That doesn't stop most people:P
