Why is USA usually the innocent nation?

Isn't switerzerland innocent? And brazil?

While many buy into the quaint idea of Switzerland being the charming land of chocolate and cuckoo clocks, reality is betrayed by their history. The Swiss were the consumate mercenaries of the Reniassance and participated in a great many wars. They served the kings of France and Spain and were a crucial component of the Italian wars as well as the internecine fighting between rival Italian families that vied for power at the time. Swtizerland was the scene of some of the most horrific sectarian violence of the Reformation.

As for Brazil, ask a Uruguayian or Paraguayian if they think that Brazil is innocent, since those are countries that Brazil invaded in the past.

No country is "innocent". The nature of the state precludes any notions of innocence.

How is it exact opposite when thats how the media portrays it and patriots buy it?

You and I may know better along with most of the world. but the usual PR spin is that "USA the innocent once again attacked by FREEDOM HATERS" is how they try to make it out to be. I'm asking... "why is that when the truth is the complete opposite?"

the UN council voted against military action in iraq but america just said basically "well we don't need your permission" and invaded anyway.

if ANY other country did that they would not be able to get away with it.

how can america be so against iran getting nukes when they are the only country to have used nukes twice and against solely civilian targets

FYI, Hiroshima was home to the headquarters of Japan's southern home islands command and a huge military base.

Nagasaki was a major transportation hub and departure port for war supplies destined for the Japanese occupation forces in China.

Both cities were perfectly valid military targets at the time.
