[QUOTE="DaBrainz"] I know we dont live in a colorblind society but making the goverment and its laws colorblind will result in a less racist society.Vuurk

by legalizing racism, people will be less racist.

Sound logic.

lol

By legalizing murder people will murder less.

lol

Fallacious argumentation at its finest.

naw it makes sense.

People keep saying that color blind people should want a socioty without racial laws, but on the same not, non murdering people want laws against murder, not because they want them there but because they know it'll act as a buffer and reduce it in number.

I love how the only dirt on Ron Paul is that he's a racist, and its been shot down, debunked, proven false numerous times. Keep trying haters. I'm rootin for ya, I really am. ;)

I also like how the supporters here actually provide facts and links to their sources, and the haters make baseless assumptions to counter them, with nothing to back it up.

RandPaul

although the racist question does have merit. The main reason I am not intrested in him is because I dont agree with flat tax's and I think shutting down schools and letting my water main pipes break is just stupid. I would rather they shut down the mililtary COMPLETELY before doing that.

How would he shut down schools and let water pipes break? All of that is state and locally run.

Thats EXACTLY what I'm talking about...

People have no idea why they don't like RP in the first place. They hear misinformation from the mainstream media, twist the fear into it and people aren't smart enough to know its all BS. And the racist question lost ALL merit, when it was completely debunked.

The government doesn't force anyone to be racist against their will.

That's not true at all. Heard of affirmative action? I thought you were better than this Sun_Tsu....(oh wait no I didn't...)

Affirmative action policies are not racist. They are not implemented along the premise that black people are superior to white people, therefore they should get priority over them. It is an acknowledgement that black people (and other minorities/women) are at a disadvantage, with all things being equal, of gaining access to higher education/employment merely because of their socioeconomic status. White males are not being oppressed by affirmative action laws.

[QUOTE="Vuurk"][QUOTE="-Sun_Tzu-"][QUOTE="Vuurk"] It's going to be a very ironic day when our economy collapses and dollar loses all value because of our ever growing national debt, and the citizens blame the politicians for it happening.

I'm still waiting for that explanation as to why that's going to happen.

You know I made a post on it awhile back and linked it several times to you in other topics and you chose to ignore it. Ignorance is bliss.

I didn't ignore your thread - I read it and it was the same sh!t you've been saying. So to repeat, I am still waiting on that explanation.

Pertaining to what exactly? Not sure what you mean by "1/2 the entire budget". I will say that 51% of all federal income tax to applied to the military. But also the Federal Reserve funds the military and the industral complex, all companies which are privately owned and backed by our government.

The solution is to remove the federal reserve, which is a privately owned big corporation. They have free reign to print money and use it how they see fit, and thats how we got into such a mess.

Well since you asked I think you are a flailing moron.

How are you going to tell me I didn't read it? If you want to know why I didn't post in that thread, it's because of how you're behaving now. You freak out when someone says something that you disagree with, as if you can't even listen to - let alone consider - opposing views, as if doing so would equate to apostasy. A "discussion" to you means calling anyone and everyone who disagrees with you a troll and/or sheep, constant condescension (I can't even count how many times you've arrogantly asked someone if they've ever taken an economics class), and spamming irrelevant youtube videos. You have no interest in critical thinking or having a reasonable discussion - the only thing you care about is evangelizing the gospel of your secular religion.

Apparently he doesn't think the bill of rights (you know, part of that constitution he loves so much) applies to states. Here is a bill that he introduced that would states to violate the first and fourth amendments. (and it shows that he's a homophobe) It's worth noting this was the second time he introduced this bill.

I've belittled and insulted plenty of people - too many for me to keep track of - but I've never insulted a person here or anywhere because of mere disagreement. I've had plenty of discussions here with people I disagree with on practically every issue that couldn't have been more civil and friendly, but the thing about civility is that it is a two way street.

No. Athletics =/= Academics. I believe college is a right for those who want to better themselves, but athletics is a privileged. At least in a college setting. I'm indifferent toward AA though.

And you think you're individual vote will have any effect on the outcome of the election? It won't, so why sell out? =[Vuurk

I'm not selling out. I'm a republican first. libertarian-leaning conservative second.

Romney has the best shot at winning, so he's going to get my vote. It's as simple as that.

I've gcome to OT later rather than sooner, but apart from whatever shennanigans have gone on previously, Vuurk is acting like a royal a** in theis thread. I've tried to engage in a meaningful discussion about Ron Paul, genuinely curious at some points, but there a limit to being insulted. If Vuurk would calm down and speak rationally, he might convince people that Ron Paul is the real deal. Insulting people would get anyone anywhere.

Here is the data on our expenditure. http://www.usgovernmentspending.com/

Military spending is not 1/2. Entitlement and social programs comprise a great quantity of the budget. We need to cut these as well as military in order to achieve fiscal responsibility. The only candidate who wants to do this is Ron Paul. People want entitlements and also want us to have a strong economy and a balanced budget. Unfortunately we can't have both.

No one cares enough about the debt to cut entitlements or social programs and therefore our debt is going to perpetuate until our economy collapses into another great depression. Our dollar will have no value. The federal reserve simply compounds the problem. Americans will live in ignorance until it is too late.

Except a lot of people rely on entitlements and I'm not referring to just welfare. If it's cut immediately without reformation then you have a major problem with the entire country. What we really need to do is reform how our country is run then start cutting down on spending. Perhaps one solution is to let the states handle their own public education and eliminate federal oversight. Or privitize social security, medicare, and medicaid. We just need someone to sell the idea rather than force it down everyone's throats.

Oh I contribute quite often. Your threads just aren't particularly deserving of taking seriously...

Yeah the self rightous spewing in this thread is nausating.. People acting like RP can only be criticized based upon ignorance.. This is politics, people have different views on it.. RP is not some savior or messiah that seems to have the right answers for everything.. I happen to agree with him majority of the time when it comes to his foreign policy, but when it comes to any of his domestic views.. Hell no.
