[QUOTE="surrealnumber5"][QUOTE="DarkOfKnight"][QUOTE="surrealnumber5"] that would have avoided this

Try to remember, the last person in the chain is usually the intended target of the comment.

but he was entirely agreeing with me so from my view i think you can imagine how it looked, it is no secret that i like paul, but i also hate politics and i do not like the theme this thread was based on, so i wanted to part in it, but it seemed like a good place to post that news for those that would care. i did not even enter this thread until my first post, the title made me face palm.

From my view that news made him happy, so I thought I'd rain on his parade a little bit. I hate politics because the USA is terrible in that department, and the thread title made me face palm because I don't see why anybody would...That and it was arrogant and clueless to other peoples views.

Ron Paul is for legalizing competing currencies; he is not for bringing back a gold standard. http://lewrockwell.com/paul/paul766.html

[QUOTE="DarkOfKnight"][QUOTE="surrealnumber5"] there was also the assumption that people are dumb and thus tools of the media. i will agree newt is done base on finance. surrealnumber5
Excuse me? Ron Paul gets no media attention, rather you like it or not the US is heavily influenced by the media. He has a hard time getting his name and views out there. I live here, I know how much the media influences who gets the votes. What assumption? You are grasping at straws here.

he draws the largest crowds around. we do not live 5, 10, or 15 years in the past. the internet has set people free, and will continue to do so. anyone who wishes to look into a topic can find hundred or thousands of sources and sort out their own opinion. the old media aint what it use to be and it pisses them off, just look at the bills sponsored by media outlets to shut down the internet. i am not grasping at straws, our conversation is my counterpoint. get with the time man, newspapers have been killed by email, and TV news is on its deathbed because of competition from independent media on the net. i have yet to state a political endorsement of any kind in this thread and have only pointed to your assertions and the numbers in regards to our conversation. you however have made it a mission to insult me, repeatedly, that wont draw the reaction i would wager your are looking for.

BS. I see all the crap my facebook friends read from yahoo news all of the time. The MSM is alive and well. They play the same distracting stories and get you all worked up about them and then they promote their movies which they are connected to bring you down from your stress levels. Movies have happy endings. Each of the main "news" affiliates have are related to a major movie studio. If the internet truly has set people free the MPAA wouldn't have as much say as it does now. They control everything.

Viewership? Ah right. Right ratings going down on msm channels but going up on reality tv channels. Progress! Except the people that own the news channels own everything else. It's all connected. You have blinders on and need to see the big picture. They changed their site. It was easier to read. http://www.freepress.net/ownership/chart#charts_cable-telecommunications

Been fun, but you brought this all on yourself. You have been disproved multiple time, don't start something you can't finish. Words to live by.

Can't argue with that flawless logic...based on absolutely nothing. I have yet to be wrong in this thread, because nothing I have brought forth has been disproved.

numbers>opinions

just because you think against trends does not make it(trends) untrue. there are things i disagree with the masses with, but i do not say the trends fit my views on those things, in that case i enter the world of opinion and why i think they should be X or Y. if you want to speak of facts use them, if you want to be in the theoretical do so, but an argument of fact cannot be made when the facts do not fit that argument. darkofknight, i thought we were done and here you are talking trash about me. should i stick around a provide more facts for your ill-founded opinions or should we part ways as you suggested?

lets not forget that i have disproved several of your statement with actuals, and procedures.

because ron paul is a moron. Hes a puss peeker that got his medical degree back when bloodletting was still the hottest craze.

He is well versed in a school of economics that was largely discredited decades ago, but due to his general stubborness and inability to adapt.. has garnered a slew of uneducated supporters that confuse his rigid adherence to out of date principles as a form of honesty to be commended.

what personal liberty does romney stand for? no universal health care? lower taxes? he is just as bad as obama. he is against things like medical marijuana which is clearly personal liberty. obama and romney are more or less the same...mingmao3046

He's not for infringing on personal liberties as much as possible. Which is all we can ask from a responsible and reasonable president.

Some of what he says I really believe to be right, some of what he says makes me thankful he's no chance to become prez. Foriegn policy specifically he's off the map with crazy.

I just don't see why you would vote for anyone else?

No foreign war, ending the federal reserve and lowering taxes theseare all good things that America needs and Ron Paul stands for!Yet he still hasn't won a state to date.

Its not like the other candidates are much better,Romneys a dick and Gingrich is in it for the money.

So what do you think of Ron Paul OT?

sexyweapons

I say... they don't want him to be on the presidents desk.

World Is Corrupted, and you know it...

Russian tried different propaganda with putin...
US just fake the votes... imo.

And I believe that similar things happend in France now... But who really knows?
