Ok, I gotta say this:
1.- Ok, so the main menu says "Press Start". BIG DEAL, press enter and enjoy.
It's the fact that they didn't develop that part with PC players in mind, it screams mindless console port which is bad for us.
2.- Yes, there aren't many options (Specially in terms of graphics), but consider this: it's a demo. The same thing happened with the Dragon Age II demo which had a broken DX11 option yet people seem to forget that usually demos are old builds.
3.- Crysis 2 motion blur and fairly high bloom effects are too high and annoying yet the motion blur and high ammounts of bloom of ArmA II and Crysis are OK?
It's tough to say "That's okay" if you haven't played it (I haven't and i certainly wouldn't say it's okay at all).
4.- Don't forget that the MP is an extra, Crysis and FarCry were SP focused games, this one is also focused on the SP, so don't try to compare the MP gameplay to the SP gameplay, trust me, it can change a lot (For example, the SP allows you to choose ALL the powers individually instead of being restricted to defense, power and stealth).
Multiplayer is a huge focus for Crysis 2, so much so that they have a seperate division of thier company working on it - the guys who worked on Haze, Time Splitters, Goldeneye and Perfect Dark. We're not talking about a few weeks of extra work, we're talking about people who contributed to at least 2 of the best multiplayer games in existance and all they could come up with was a CoD clone? And I don't even say CoD clone to make a point! if they caled it Call of Duty 2023 it could be released as a seperate product, that's how similar it is.
5.- For the SLI scaling problems you should probably wait 'til Nvidia releases the Crysis 2 SLI profile (Probably tomorrow).
