Yeah, same. Although truth be told, for $5 i'd purchase just about any game if it looked halfway decent. It's hard to pass up anything that cheap that looks even remotely interesting, which is part of the reason I have such a large backlog.

Nothing for me today, but I highly recommend Defense Grid: The Awakening and Batman: Arkham Asylum.

Same here. I passed up Alpha Protocol on the first cycle for that reason. I may end up passing on K&L2, as well.

I am not complaining it is up there though, instead I am more surprised it came up there. I just didnt expect to see that game be one of the chosen ones. For that price the game should be a pretty good deal.

The sales are not decided by users. Although on the last day of both the Holiday and Summer sale, Steam offered a repeat on the most popular sales.

You missed out on Alpha Protocol brother, it's a gem of a game. K&L 2 on the other hand i've heard nothing but bad things about, even if the demo was alright, so I may end up skipping it also. Everything else in today's sale I either already own or i'm not interested in.

It appears that the combined operations package that includes Arma 2 along with Arrowhead is also 50% off.

Might pick up Tropico 3. For both Tropico 3 and it's expansion pack for $7, looks good.

^ya, I'm eyeing that one steadily. I haven't played an ARMA game except for the demo on arma 2. But i used to be a HUGE fan of the original operation flashpoint and expansions.

I lost count on how many times Torchlight has been on sale :shock:

hmmm thinkin about torchlight and empire total war. Sometimes you have to step back and not buy just cuz something is on sale. I highly doubt I would get around to playing torchlight and I would wrather save the $15 for total war on another game id wrather want that will prob be on sale soon.

Nope, i have picked up 4 items so far. Which is already more than i purchased during last years sale.

Tropico 3 + expansion for £7.50, it would be rude not to buy it if im honest. Torchlight £3.75, practically a steal.

Torchlight is a freaking steal at that price, even though it's been on sale countless times. If you still don't have it, get that ****.
