Yea, it looks so good, especially the multiplayer. I never really play flight sims but this one looks just so immersive.

It's even got the Battle of Britain in it. :D

Seeing L4D2 for that price makes me happy I didn't pay for the full $50 for it last year.

Picked up Lara Croft and Wings of Prey. I got GTA content and LFD2 is a good deal but I got LFD and I never play it, so it will be a waste of money.

So glad I got torchlight :D £3.75 for a game I already played for 8 hours, id say thats already got my moneys worth and im not close to being finished with it :) Tropico 3 and the kings bounty games will have to wait ^_^

So how exactly does EFLC work? It says that it doesn't require a copy of the original GTA IV. Are they just stand-alone "expansions"? I bought GTA IV through D2D and would be interested in EFLC, just don't want there to be any issues because one requires Steam and the other doesn't.

Just buy EFLC on D2D, its cheaper than Steam right now. I actually bought my copy of GTAIV on Steam and thinking about getting EFLC on D2D.

Today was my 1st day of purchases =) I'm quite happy! I bought GTA: EFLC, L4D2, and Galcon Fusion for less than 20$. Sweeeeeeeet!

I just hope that TF 2 will come on sale =) I've been waiting for this game to come on sale for a long time... (always missed its sales). I wish Assassin's creed 2 will be on sale. And well, I would hope a Civ IV or V sale and/or Street Fighter IV sale. I missed Empire Total War sale... I could cross my fingers for Napoleon Total War to come on sale, but that probably won't happen.

I agree about AC2. I actually saw Napoleon: Total War for $15 at Target. If you have one in your area you should check the clearance. I also got Metro 2033 there for $12.

From what I heard, you're not missing out on much (Prototype). Was the sale on steam $15 or $10? Anyways, I would say go for it if it was $5. Elann2008

Prototype is one of the most "sandboxy" sandbox games ever.

I played it a lot and never finished it. A few hours into the game I unlocked all powers and then ignored the storyline. There are no restrictions. You're an amoral god. It's amazing.

But I can see why someone that likes their sandbox to be guided won't appreciate Prototype. It relies very much on the player creating all the fun.

Right now I'm playing inFamous and it's a perfect companion piece to Prototype. One has excellent missions and a pretty rubbish sandbox to dick around with, the other one allows complete freedom and has tons of variety while the missions are weak.

I'm going to pass on this cycle. I was thinking about getting Conviction, but I'm going to pass right now.

I wouldn't worry about more sales will be here before we know it.

This year's Black Friday sales haven't been very inspiring. I remember last year's sales being better, and the summer sale was simply epic. I'm still annoyed that Dawn of War 2 Gold was reduced in price, but Chaos Rising was still priced at 20 bucks. Didn't see the need of buying the original game again.

Edit - It was also quite surprising that games such as Amnesia, Dead Space, Vampire: Bloodlines, Settlers 7, and Civilization 5 were not present during these sales.
