It depends on what bundle you are talking. If you are talking about the bundle being sold off Konami's website then yes those will most likely only be available on day one. If you are talking about the 80GB (States) or 40GB bundle (Europe) then those will be around for a while. I'm guessing for at least a month or two.

the game isnt even out yet, and GS tries to release their reviews the day of or day before, stop being annoying and get some patience

Killed your hype? That's one problem right there. Second, if you don't have a clear understanding what Metal Gear Solid games are for the last decade that Kojima has been releasing them, then I don't know what to say.

I won't even bother explaining to you how wrong (in the opinions) Eurogamer review is, I personally love Metal Gear and have no doubt that my love for MGS will not be shattered by a sad review of one mans opinion.

If you're looking forward to MGS4, then stop worrying about reviews, be it good or bad. By know, (if are familiar with franchise) you sgould know what to expect. :)

I haven't read it, and NO a review doesn't kill my hype for this game or any other game, I admit I do read reviews to see what the game like but don't go by them.

And I think the score 8/10 is good not bad only this site and Edge gave it that lower score.

But I have to say the those 2 lines you wrote from the site doesn't go well with the score 8 it almost look like a 7.

And the way the reviewer described the story as boring clearly shows he has never played a MGS game before and he only wanted to review it because of the hype the game is getting.

I'm sorry I don't understand what you mean by he was forced to end it I don't think that Konami will want to end a well established series like MGS, and now that there will be a new MGS game after 4 and it will even tie up the story of the past MGS games according to Kojima I believe it is going on well.

And if you are talking about what the Eurogamer review wrote I feel he has never played an MGS game before simply because he called the story boring or what ever boring thing he found in it.

I was just messing around on the MGS4 website when I noticed something. All of the PMC companies match the BB squad...

Praying Mantis = Screaming Mantis

Werewolf = Crying Wolf

Raven = Raging Raven

Pieuvre Armament = Laughing Octopus

The last company is either Liquid or some unknown BB squad member. All PMC companies owned by Outer Haven...sorry my MG train of thought clicked on and i'm looking for all of the possible connections. Come on June 12!

It was originally pointed out by Shabab12 here but the thread was closed proabaly due it it not being in this official topic.

I think its really cool that you can do that in the game, i just wish it was doable in MGO in more of a CoD4 fashion (you actually equip your character with the weapon and its features and keep them for each match you play).

MGS4 is different from the other MGS games, sneaking in this game will be much difficult than it used to be you have a lot of things going on in the game that one single mistake might be the end for you.

I like the new setting it makes it more exciting in past MGS game you use to sneak indoors and in the jungle and only use force when you are surrounded and when in a boss fight.

And WOW it is almost here June 12 is going to be awesome.

From gamespot blog. When gamespot going to review MGS4, the score should not be deducted because of the installation time, if so GTA4 should deserve the same fate and all games that require install time.

... I wasnt against that and I agree with gamespot that they shouldnt listen to anyone about things like that. Konami is stupid for even bringing that up because it has nothing to do with the game itself. I agree that gamespot or any other site shouldnt listen to that request but where I am pointing them out is, is that those 2 areas arent a big issue, mgs games have always been known for long cut scenes. But also did a great job with the cut scenes because it is what brang the amazing storyline from this great series. U take those cut scenes away and this game wouldnt make no damn sense. See where im coming from with that?

Also installations has nothing to do with the game itself, I mean is it even part of the gameplay or graphics or sound or replay value or storyline? No that is just something most ps3 games have to do because most games are being streamed and using the hard drive to reduce load times. It has nothing to do with the game itself as a whole in what kojima was creating. If u are going to dock points from that then where are the other docked points from every other ps3 game that had the same installation? I am not trying to sound rude here but what the hell is really up with long cut scenes and installations? I mean does those things really matter in what the game brings for gamers? I mean people act like cut scenes are a bad thing, last time I checked no one was complainging about cutscenes in final fantasy games or gta games and all of sudden it is a big issue just because its MGS4?

1.I can understand if long cut scenes were a downside if they were bad and didnt make sense at all or didnt tie in well with the game story but no matter how long the cut scenes are if it fits in perfect with the story and are amazing like they always have in the passed mgs games, then why even minus it? I dont even get that, and that is bs at its finest.

2.Installation has nothing to do with the gaming experience itself. When u go to review a game it should be based on the game itself with graphics, sound, gameplay, storyline, and replay value, not because of installation. That has nothing to do with the game itself. If we were to go by that rule then almost every ps3 game would get docked points for that which is very unfair. Its like docking points for a wii game just because they didnt add any features to the wii mote when the game alone is awesome. I think some of u game site reviewers are taking this way over out of the game itself's league and making such a big issue about this and its very unfair. I mean I can almost bet if the 360 had these things most sites will just look passed it like its nothing big but since its the ps3 game sites just look for anything little just too dock points off the ps3 titles.
