Well after 4 hours of the game I can honestly say that its amazing.. Character models area FANTASTIC and the new gun play is really tight.. The way you think its still a cutscene and then realise hey... i can move!! is pretty cool to!!figo16v

So surprised as it turned up in the office post today so... I made my case and took time off.. hehe.

I just called my gamestop and they said they will have 20 extra copies for walkins tonight. So if someone didnt preorder give your gamestop a call and see if they got extras for tonight.

I loved that about Uncharted too. I can't wait to get this game later tonight!

Where are all the big reviews like IGN, GameSpot, etc. ? :?king23_

ign ( USA) is waiting for the game to come out... so they can test MGO and talk without any problems (restriction)

and Gamespot.. is waiting for the check.... if they get it its a 9.5 if they dont get any money then its a 8.0 :D

With MGO being such a significant part of the package, and IGN USA's pre-release experience with that feature being rather narrow compared to our counterparts in the UK and Australia, we want to make sure that we play the networked portion of the game as much as possible before posting our review.

I hope this clears things up for readers in search of the final opinion of the US review team."

i can respect that...i hate it when online components of games get rated before they can rightfully be tested...like Age of Conan being reviewed so early by IGN and Gamespot, how could they take in everything it has to offer

I just got it today! MGS4 is definitely worth a 10/10! A MUST HAVE GAME FOR PS3 OWNERS!

Seriously, just go and get the game! This is a game which cannot be missed.

Yeah thats what i was going to say. It depends who is cashing out the check. I bet it gets an 8 for not letting you tie your shoes or something

I just walked by a shop in Chinatown, NYC and held a copy in my hand. I checked the back...1080p is definitely supported.

I was able to restrain myself from buying it though, as I have a LE pre-ordered at gamestop for tomorrow morning 10 AM.
