Im thinking about getting the Trilogy. Since I've played 2 but not 1 or 3... How is 3 ??Anyone try any of the ME3 DLC? (Other than Ashes to Ashes and the Extended cut)

ME3 was great man, I thought the combat/gameplay was improved. Some things about ME3 are underwhelming, but many parts in the single player were mindblowing and it was just fun to play imo. I wasn't the biggest fan of the online co-op; but that may have been due to having to play with strangers (But I've had some tense moments from it.) If you enjoyed pretty much everything about 2, I'm sure your gonna like 3.

The demo? Iirc, it didn't.
I've played the ME3 co op demo with people for hours. I actually enjoyed it. Did the Online demo benefit you with anything for single player ?[QUOTE="Young_Charter"][QUOTE="Wesrcks13"]

Not the demo, the game itself online play.Oh it did, it gave you more War Assets (For this system ME3 has) which has an impact on the ending for the game.

Such a cheap way to force people to play MP too. The MP actually isn't half bad, but I did not like having to stop playing the game to grind through the MP for 3 or 4 hours just to make sure I got the best ending. I wish they didn't tie the two together at all.[QUOTE="Wesrcks13"][QUOTE="Young_Charter"] Not the demo, the game itself online play. Young_Charter

It (the original ending) made A LOT of people furious. ME3 was a hot topic for weeks.

I felt the same man, it was terrible when you wanted to do other playthroughs.

[QUOTE="Young_Charter"][QUOTE="Wesrcks13"]So sad. Weren't they going to add different endings in soon ? Don't let the bad hype surrounding the ending deter you though.ME3 still was a fantastic game with some truly gutwrenching decisions and heartfelt moments. Sounds good to me. See 60.00 for all three isn't so bad hearing that. but by the time I finish some of the games I have, hopefully it'll be 40.00It (the original ending) made A LOT of people furious. Obsidian pitching Star Wars RPG
"I would say it's within the top three pitches we've ever come up with," he said.
The game would be set between the events of the films Episode III and Episode IV. "We think that timeframe is super interesting. It's the fall of the Republic, the extermination of the Jedi; it's Obi-Wan going off and making sure Luke is OK. You have the Sith, but you have the extermination of all Force users except for very, very few," he said.
Urquhart said he pitched LucasArts on the idea prior to Disney's acquisition of the Star Wars brand in October. He noted that the transition "changes things," but that won't keep Obsidian from pushing the game with new owner Disney.
He said when Obsidian pitched the game to LucasArts, the studio received a positive call back later that very day. Since Disney's takeover of Star Wars, though, Obsidian has yet to speak with the House of Mouse about getting the project off the ground.
"We haven't [talked with Disney yet]. We're kind of waiting for the smoke to clear," he said. "But that's one of my next big things to do. To kind of go over there and [get the ball rolling again]."

Btw Charter your poll sucks lol The lack of Persona 4 Golden is blasphemy. P4G is the best JRPG of all time, so it easily takes this gen.Texas2089I meant for the consoles. Btw its round I. Shut your JRPG horses up and pm me a request for it to be in round II like the rest lol
Had to pick my 3rd place RPG on the poll with Skyrim. #1 Dark Souls and #2 Ni no Kuni aren't on there.

Leviathon is amazing. I think it could be the best mission in the entire trilogy of Mass Effect. Certainly the most important mission in the whole trilogy. Omega is boring tho. The combat is good as usual, and there is a lot of it, but it seems like it has zero story.Anyone try any of the ME3 DLC? (Other than Ashes to Ashes and the Extended cut)

Is Borderlands considered a RPG? I felt like it was 50/50 shooter and RPG.Granny_SpankedIt's a hybrid or at least an action game with RPG elements.
Its awesome man. Pretty deep and a bit complex.roboccs
You guys ever play Final Fantasy Tactics on PS1? It's really cheap right now and I'm intrigued. I've read good things but I've never really gotten into SRPGs before. Is there a good story and characters. Thought I would consider trying something new.
So, I know this is the PS3 board, butMrSelf-DestructIts all good. Don't forget its an OT thread too.
So, I know this is the PS3 board, but I was wondering how you dudes felt about some of the Wii RPGs. There are a few that are unique to the system, and I was thinking about checking them out. Ones I'm interested in are Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Tales of Symphonia, Rune Factory, and Arc Rise Fantasia. Any input would be appreciated.MrSelf-DestructTales of Symphonia: A New Dawn is a good game, it was my first in series and was fun, good story as well. Rune factory is good but depends if you like the whole harvest moon part of it too as thats a big factor in those games.

Eternal Sonata:
Was playing it. Had to quit. Got about 30 hours into it. The story wasn't very good, and the cutscenes were super long and almost torture. The great thing about the game is the battle system, but there is tons and tons of battling to do, and eventually it becomes repetitive and tedious. And that's the problem IMO: because that battle system is the only great thing going for this game, and once you get tired of that, the game is toast.
The money system in the game seems broken. I always had tons more money than I ever needed. Whenever I went to a store I spent a quarter of my money and had all the best gear and healing items and stuff I needed.
This is my opinion anyway. I was about halfway through the game at 30 hours. I'm not complaining though. I paid $22 for the game at Gamestop, and that's less that $1 an hour for entertainment. I was really enjoying the game for about 20 hours, but then it started to get tiring.
