Speed Highway is awesome, I actually played it on the original Adventure recently and it's not bad, but it's actually not as good as the Generations version IMO.
In an ongoing series of contests held by various sites (1Up apparently had a fanfiction and best-next-Sonic-game-idea) to win Sonic Generations games and the collectible Sonic statues, Destructiod's having a trivia contest. Actually, it's more like a sweepstakces since everyone's posted the answers everywhere, and the questions aren't very hard, anyhow.

Rayman got the award and most would say he deserved it. The demo I played was stellar and gorgeous art design and let's face it, Mario's got shelves full of "Best platformer awards" if only for the years of platforming drought where he often won by default and the fact that Mario's game was on a handheld and for whatever reason, no matter how awesome your game is, if it's not on a console it just doesn't get the same respect.
Has anybody else found the emerald stages way easier than in other games? Ive been able to catch all of the emeralds so far in one try except for number 3. ive already got 6. i hope number 7 is harder.
Want to hear something funny. My dad gave me my birthday present and his heart is in the right place but sometimes gets mixed up. He gave me the 3DS version of Generations instead of the PS3 version (facepalm) and of course I don't have a 3DS but he left the receipt taped to the back so I could exchange it. From what you guys said I think I'd rather play the console version.

Well I think the critics perferred the conssole version. Things like that can happen I guess.
Feel free to scroll down in the comments and look for angry Sonic fan ranting. But Generations was a good game, this year Sonic just had a ton of good platformers to compete with. Just remember, Kirby who was a favorite of last year didn't get nominated this year either. Though Sonic is shown off in the opening montage.
