Impressive win for the Celtics. If they can win Game 2 as well, I see them moving into the NBA finals.

[QUOTE="Mister__Awesome"]The Celtics team, despite the win is still being underestimated. A team like ORL at home is expected to make a run like they did in the 4th Quarter, but the grit and heart of the Celtics kept it a BOS win.bmaninc
After beating LeBron and D-Wade, you can't underestimate Boston.

We could go up 3-0 in this series and people would STILL be saying boston has no chance.

Boy Pierce has been red hot, but the Celtics need to find another scorer in the second half I think, in order for them to win this game.

And Orlando is playing like crap, that's insane.

Props to the Celts (except Pierce, who's the New Paris Hilton) for playing hard though.

I don't care much for the Celtics winning, they deserved it.

I'm just sick and tired of watching Paul Pierce "play" basketball. The man is a disgrace to the sport.

Wow. Boston is much stronger than I thought! Maybe Cleveland's loss isn't so bad considering that they're up 2-0 against the Magic, who we all thought were the strongest team in the NBA. Looks like Boston is the best team in the East all along. Damn, did anyone ever think a Lakers VS Celtic rematch would happen? I'm getting excited just thinking about it! :D

Boston is surprisingly strong this postseason, which isn't a bad thing since they've taken out the Cavaliers, and that made me happy :) I mean, even Bill Simmons wrote them off before the playoffs and he's the biggest homer in the world (No, maybe not, but he's insanely biased).

What do you guys think? Do you think Orlando would've matched up better with Boston if they still had Turkoglu? I think so. Turkoglu was pretty clutch in the 4th. He also made plays. And unlike Carter, he can make free throws! :P

One more thing. During the Cavs series, Barkley and Kenny Smith said something interesting. They said that other than LeBron, who were the next best players among both teams? It was obviously Garnett, Pierce, and Allen, and now we can add Rondo to that list. So it was 1 great players VS 4. Could it be the same with this Orlando/Boston series? Other than Howard, who are the next best players? It's arguably Garnett, Pierce, and Allen again, three hall of famers. Even though they're aging, they can still play at a high level. I don't like the Celtics but I do like the players like Ray Allen. So I do like seeing an aging all-star still torching the young hotheads of the league. But Lakers will kill them this time, so no worried! ;)

The way the Lakers are playing now, with Kobe, Odom, Gasol playing at All-NBA level, nothing's going to stop them from title #16. But you never know.

Plus, although Boston is playing great, they are a older team. I know that may seem nothing right now but once the Finals come around, how much gas will the Celtics have left? We'll see. And Orlando is losing in the 4th because they don't have a closer. Lakers have Kobe. Nuff' said! 8)

But seriously this post season I have been off with my predictions . Now the Celtics could easily sweep the Magic.

^ Gotta stay healthy, if they play too hard for pointless wins in regular season they would be too banged up for PO especially a team like C's consisting of bones and fossils.

why waste your strength though?

IMO it's about playing hard enough to get to the playoffs, then turning it on in they playoffs

honestly it works out much better that way because you will surprise the other team...think about it, no one was thinking boston for the finals at all (except for boston fans like me of course :P) but now they are on the verge of a sweep and have completely shocked everyone because they simple weren't expecting that championship caliber team to show up

LOL at those thinking ORL had a chance. ORL faced CHA and ATL while BOS faced MIA and CLE. BOS stays getting underestimated. Series is far from over but STOP OVERLOOKING THE CELTICS!
