Yeah he got hit hard. A concussion, wow. That's uncommon in the NBA.
I'm sorry Big Baby, you deserved to be on the floor that time. But at least you tried to get up by yourself. Props to Doc Rivers for trying to toughen up your squad.
I like Doc Rivers. Good coach.
Lewis is alive. I thought he was in a coma for the last week.
Yeah it has been quite a game so far... A lot of things happening. I didn't think I would see Daniels, Robinson and Finley in action that much...wow...KP ejected, T's flying everywhere, and now baby with a concussion??
oh and now daniels shaken up??
my god this is HORRIBLE
color me worried now

I just read some dude on Twitter : "I can't believe they didn't throw out Glen Davis for running into Joey Crawford"
There could have been a riot if it really happened. And probably 20 bounty hunter contracts for Crawford's head. Including one from me, and I'm not even a Celtics fan.
[QUOTE="CDUB316"]Come on dude, you have a Triple H avatar, you can't cry! Triple H is awesome, by the way.i swear i'll cry even more than big baby if the magic somehow wins this series

awesome a HHH fan!!! i didn't like you cause you always dawg on pierce...but now you're an ok dude :)
lol, and yes he IS awesome
One of theworst officiating games I have seen ever. No defense at all from Celtics. Poor shooting, didn't take enough drives to the basket. Got jump shot happy. Just a terrible way to bring it back to Boston when this series should have been done the other night. With this momemtum shift I would not be surprised if we see another Boston team choke it up again this year. What a joke. Never give a team life when they don't have any. Never.

Well I don't like Pierce, and I don't hide it :p. But many people mistake my hatred of Pierce with a hatred for the Celtics.I don't hate the Celtics. I don't like them as much as the Sixers or Suns or even Seattle (now Thunder:cry: )but I like their legacy, big players like Russell and DJ, to name a few. And Ray Allen is my 3rd favorite player of all-time.
That was Gortat.wow...daniels really got a concussion by hitting his head on that players stomach??? (can't remember who it was)
two concussions in one game....this is just all wrong....soo soooo wrong

Well I'm off, it's over. I'm sorry I pissed off some people because I hate Pierce (even if I don't hate the Celtics at all, like I explained in a previous post).
[QUOTE="Mister__Awesome"]My fellow Celtic fans, stay humble.ASK_Story
Tell that to Paul Pierce! :P
There's no such thing as humble with the Celtics lol, that is why we as Celtic fans have to provide the balance. Pierce and the gang go all cocky and douchy while we (hopefully) stay humble and realize that the Magic are not the Heat.crummy officiating aside, i gotta give the magic props, they were due for a game like this
what a crazy freakin game though, as soon as the game was over i went to bed like "what the hell just happened?"
Yea he intentionally brings down his arm/elbows to harm others and tries to make it look unintentional. He got Pierce, Garnett and Davis and god know how many others during the season that were left unaccounted for lol. After last night I can sit here in confidence and say that Dwight Howard is in fact a dirty player.

Not sure if you are being sarcastic or not but if you don't think when he goes for a rebound and he throws his elbows around like one of the bush wackers and the intention is to hit someone so that when he goes for a rebound again he'll have more space. Then I we will have to agree to disagree. He does the little extra stuff too after the whistle is blown, like when he blocked Rondo and and Rondo got slammed to the ground or when Gortat fouled Pierce and then Howard had Pierce and bent his arm back and threw him to ground. I mean come on.There's no such thing as humble with the Celtics lol, that is why we as Celtic fans have to provide the balance. Well if you know they get all cocky and douchy when they win, then why are you a Celtics fan? Heck Ive known since 2008 they were cocky...............
How could anyone be a fan too team that cocky? They don't even try to hide it. Its one thing to celebrate wins and cheer your teammates on but this current Celtics team is just flat out mean, with all their getting in peoples faces, talking back to fans, complaining about every foul, getting technicals almost every game, pushing around other players.
I would never support someone (or in this case a team) like that. Doing all that just makes you come off as a low-class person with a dirty personality. Id rather be known for being a respectful player who plays a good game without being a jerk to everyone else.

Well I guess you don't watch the rest of the NBA, because the whole NBA is like that. I think they have been pretty humble. I just think you are seeing a series where both teams hate eachother and when Pierce said what he said he was fired up after getting drilled like he did from Howard. He answered back by playing really well. I suggest you don't watch the rest of the NBA then if you don't feel you can support a cocky team or especially one that talks smack. lol[QUOTE="xscrapzx"]Yea he intentionally brings down his arm/elbows to harm others and tries to make it look unintentional. Dwight also knocked out Courtney Lee with a concussion and Lee ended up missing a playoff game last year, he has given Jameer Nelson multiple concussions, and he has also landed elbows on Hedo and Rafer as well. I'm sure it's all intentional when the exact same things happen to his own teammates in practice. Dwight has even hurt Patrick Ewing in practice before lol.
But I do admit that Dwight has lost his cool before. He elbowed Samuel Dalembert last year in the first round (suspended one game) and he landed a sneaky elbow in on Pau Gasol a few years ago (and Pau actually got the T)... but the stuff that has been happening this series I doubt has been with any malicious intent. Dwight has just been extremely physical and active the past two games and people have been in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I like physical basketball (when people are not getting hurt), the stuff I haven't liked is how trigger happy the refs have been with the technical fouls.

They don't call him the Polish Hammer for nothing:P
I know this is a little off topic but I gotta share with you guys my favorite intentional elbow
Nash gets MalOWNED
andyboiii
Nash is always getting hit, yet gets right back up. Nash is pretty tough for a guy his size.
I remember when Nash hit Tony Parker in the 07 playoffs, Nash got right back up, was bleeding all over the place, yet Parker was still on the ground looking like he was crying, yet when he got up, it looked like nothing happened.

There is a differences between physical and dirty. But you can't blame Howard, the NBA has given him a free pass to elbow anyone anytime, so whats he care?[QUOTE="wildcat2000"][QUOTE="Mister__Awesome"]There's no such thing as humble with the Celtics lol, that is why we as Celtic fans have to provide the balance. Glen Davis was fined earlier this season for cussing a fan and didnt know til a few months ago Paul Pierce spit at/on anothers teams bench once. Is that just the usual cocky smack-talk players do? No.

How is Dwight Howard dirty when he injures his own teammates the exact same with in practice. Just look at these.

It's pretty obvious that Dwight isn't trying to hurt his teammates on purpose...
Dwight has lost his cool a couple times in the past (elbow to Dalembert in the playoffs last year, and he also elbowed Gasol a few years ago) but the stuff that has been happening this series is more inadvertent than anything.
Or, as I said, the NBA doesn't care who he elbows because he's one of their stars, so he's got so use to doing it he even does it in practice against his own guys. He's dirty, maybe he was just angry and wanted to elbow one of his teammates? KG accidentally elbowed someone earlier this year, and he was suspended. Sooo where are all of Dwights suspensions?fastr
you talkin about the scuffle with the heat? that wasnt even during play that was just a elbow at richardson face

Yeah, ya know the one where he was being held and crowded around by the entire heat team and fell backwards because of it? So the heat team causes him to fall back and while trying to get his balance his elbow hits someone, yup, his fault all right. My point is, if you say Howards elbows are accidental, he should still be suspended like KG was, if they aren't, then suspend him for being dirty like he is. If a guy always accidentally punches people in the face, should they say, oh it's just an accident, no foul? Pretty sure a moving screen is an accident, so is double dribble, the ball going out of bounds, ect. Please Log In to post.
