[QUOTE="monkeytoes61"]Did anyone catch the guy standing behind the Canucks bench tonight? He was wearing a shirt that read, "Sedin Sisters: Two girls, no Cup." HahaSwanogt19Yup. All started last year from Boston. Those shirts are well known in New England. You see the security come in between that guy and a Canucks fan holding the "I believe" sign?
[QUOTE="the_ChEeSe_mAn2"]Pittsburgh Penguins are a disgraceful team. Starting from Cindy (and his glove-push) all the way down. Neal is a punk who should get suspended until end of playoffs. And Craig Adams pulling Hartnell's hair in the fight...what a joke. I am hoping Flyers sweep this sorry excuse of a team in game 4. JohnBean42I agree with you. Asham is dirty, Crosby was an idiot today...really, everyone was. The most surprising player of the game: Matt Cooke. No PM that game. Wow. Guess he has turned the corner. Hope the Flyers sweep them. The NHL should have no reason to defend Crosby anymore and should understand why there is so much ire against him. He started that whole thing by knocking that guy's glove away.

He started that whole thing by knocking that guy's glove away. But he's the most marketable player in the NHL, not to mention most popular. If the Pens and NHL have him running around like he did yesterday, it will hurt the league. When he plays at his level, it really helps the NHL. So they'll defend him, not suspend him...whatever it takes.
[QUOTE="Los9090"]Torres will probably get a 1 game suspension for that due to being a repeat offenderSwanogt19I would expect more. With the "injury" factor involved. I didn't really see an issue with the hit. Hossa cut across the middle after the puck got knocked off his stick, but it seemed that it was a moment too late.
Shanahan might still have concussion syndrome because he pretty much blows at his job. He's basically giving out suspensions on whether or not a player gets hurt from the hit. It should be mostly about the INTENT to Injure on a hit and if it's a dirty/cheap shot play... and be less about if there's an injury on a play. Players get hurt on CLEAN hits all the time, so it's not really a good bar to judge things by all the time.
S.Weber getting off after his head to turnbuckle WWE head slam into the glass only getting a fine is beyond laughable, Carkner a goon put in the lineup for a pre meditated attack and cheap shot jumping of B.Boyle only gets 1 game, All the Pens /Flyers garbage treated lightly... and then Carl Hagelin who's a rookie who plays a clean game hits D.Alfredsson (who is a fellow Swede and hero of Hagelin's) with what was basically a glancing elbow off the arm and then to the head get 3 games!!! WTF is Shanahan smoking? Alfredsson has had a concussion in the past and because he's out the suspension is longer? Shanny really does not understand the type of hit/situation that is suspendible. Like the hit on Hossa where 'leaving your feet' and launching into a guys head like a missile is one of the most dangerous plays in hockey right now and needs to be suspendible. That head shot was way nastier and cheaper than the Haglein hit on Alfredsson imo.

Interference. Repeat offender. And Hossa is probably hurt. 4+ games I think.
That Flyers series is a joke. Bryz was bad, but he got no help. Same for Bob. Still a long way to go for the Pens
Like the Kings game so far. Sweep those Canucks! (I also remember I had them in the final back when the season began).
Conflicted about the Sens game. It was exciting, and I jumped when Turris scored. But I shouldn't want them to win. Maybe just beat NY...

I'm having a hard time taking the Flyers-Pens series seriously.

^This. Goaltending and defense does not exist in Pennsylvania.
fleury is really good. but not this series...Flyers/Pens is embarrassing with all those goals being scored. The best 2 series in the East so far has been Bruins/Caps and Rangers/Sens. Lundqvist and Anderson are coming up huge in net.

fleury is really good. but not this series...But hopefully how he played yesterday woke him up because he has to be at his best or they will be out of the playoffs. What did Bryz sign? A 9 year contract or something like that? He really hasn't been that impressive this season.Los9090Yeah a 9 year $51 million contract.
Yeah a 9 year $51 million contract.I fail to understand why a team would sign a 31 year old goalie to a 9 year deal.[QUOTE="Los9090"]What did Bryz sign? A 9 year contract or something like that? He really hasn't been that impressive this season.Nintendo_Ownes7

Disgusted at the Bruins failure to score.
Seabas989
I'm not. :P
The closk even favored them at the end. This series has been too even. I don't think I can handle anymore close games.
Just remember, the longer this series goes own the more tired the Caps will get. Caps need to finish the series by Game 6 or they may be in trouble. They are showing signs of exhaustion. That being said the Bruins need to figure out Holtby or they lose.[QUOTE="Seabas989"]

I don't know, the pp isn't very vital for the Bruins. We had lackluster PP last season as well. And the Bruins need to work on their power play production.

Torres suspension was a bit longer than what most expected, but it serves a great warning to other players.
