have a video of it?NHL is a joke. It is clear now they are riding the Pens. How come there was no mention about the icing that wasn't called that led to the Pens 3rd goal?

Once step away from being WWE, slap on the wrist for being dirty in the playoffs? Have they come down on the guy who slammed Clifford into the boards? How can you say you're trying to protect players? Pretty bad and fishy officiating all around tooX360PS3AMD05Yes. Bitz got suspended for two games for the hit.

So the NHL reports that they are upset about Briere's goal not being whistled for offsides. Really NHL? Missed calls happen all the time, don't even get me started as to WHY you would make a complaint.Los9090How is it a bad thing that the NHL is upset at a clear missed call in a playoff game that directly affected the outcome of said game?

But that was clearly a bad call that directly influenced the end result of a playoff game. This isn't some questionable judgement call in a mid season game.[QUOTE="monkeytoes61"][QUOTE="Los9090"]So the NHL reports that they are upset about Briere's goal not being whistled for offsides. Because questionable calls are made all the time and this is the only time the NHL is saying something about it. But that was clearly a bad call that directly influenced the end result of a playoff game. This isn't some questionable judgement call in a mid season game.Again, there always bad calls that directly affect the outcome in a game in the playoffs that the NHL doesn't bother pointing out. Also why didn't they mention the icing that wasn't called that led to the Pens 3rd goal?[QUOTE="sherman-tank1"]

Also why didn't they mention the icing that wasn't called that led to the Pens 3rd goal? Exactly...and you know the NHL wouldn't have said a thing about that if the Penguins won. Kudos to the Flyers for blowing out the Bettguins tonight.[QUOTE="monkeytoes61"]

I've done pretty well with my picks so far. Phoenix won and STL lost, but everything else is looking good. Love how the Kings are playing, I just want to see Van. OUT! Same goes for Pitt.
Sucks that I have to hate you until this series is over. ^^Backstrom scores!!!!! :D
Can't wait till Game 3.

 well it is only one game. It's anyone's series.
I don't hate Boston teams as much as other I-95/Northeast teams. :P

Yeah, nothing personal but that game got me really bummed. The last game I would watch with my dad because he is leaving to go to California for who knows how long. I have a lot of respect for the Caps though. I knew this was going to be a tough series. There was never a penalty on Hotlby. So I don't know why your complaining. Here is a link to the box score. http://bruins.nhl.com/club/boxscore.htm?id=2011030122Swanogt19In Game 1 there was.
In Game 1 there was. Okay. Thanks. However there is a difference between the two. The puck is not near Hotlby and Thomas has the puck in the second gift. All in the eye of the beholder. For example Game 1 of the Canucks and Kings a Canuck gets a penalty for spraying Quick with snow. In game 2 a Kings player sprayed Luongo with snow and there was no penalty. Different refs. The Flyers and Pens game today has gotten really nasty. Crosby in a fight, Asham getting tossed, and several fights.[QUOTE="Swanogt19"]There was never a penalty on Hotlby. Just yesterday in game two of PHX-CHI, Smith came out and hit Toews and Toews got the penalty. The league needs some consistency.[QUOTE="Swanogt19"]There was never a penalty on Hotlby. [QUOTE="Seabas989"]Not only that but where is the goal tending? Fleury let two soft ones by. Can't say I'm surprised. We aren't dealing with elite goalies here.Flyers/Penguins series has been the opposite of the Caps/Bruins series.
Where is the defense?

Poor Flower.
I actually like Marc-André, but the rest of the team. Not really. But a series with Flyers and Penguins, one has to choose the lesser of two evils.
Pittsburgh Penguins are a disgraceful team. Starting from Cindy (and his glove-push) all the way down. Neal is a punk who should get suspended until end of playoffs. And Craig Adams pulling Hartnell's hair in the fight...what a joke. I am hoping Flyers sweep this sorry excuse of a team in game 4. the_ChEeSe_mAn2I agree with you. Asham is dirty, Crosby was an idiot today...really, everyone was. The most surprising player of the game: Matt Cooke. No PM that game. Wow. Guess he has turned the corner. Hope the Flyers sweep them.
