So why exactly did Boston trade Scutaro and go with Aviles at SS? Sounds like teammates loved him, and he was pretty great on getting on base.

Without Kozma who knows if they even make the playoffs....... I saw some dude at the gas station with a Giants cap, so before i could even watch the recording i figured they had won!! AHHHHHH, oh well, Congratulations super clutch Giants. Tigers you better throw Verlander at um 3 times! STL fans bringing the hate to twitter http://deadspin.com/5954046/3-words-fire-mike-matheny-the-best-fans-in-baseball-are-having-a-major-meltdown?tag=mlb-playoffs And why was there a pitching change with one more out to go up 9-0........................

Good, no more #12 in 12' crap from Cards fans. Perhaps the two more beautiful parks in all of sports in this series. NL MVP in Posey? AL MVP?, Triple Crown winner in Miguel Cabrera. Da MVP, Cy Young winner Justin Verlander. Scutaro, Fielder, Leyland. This is going to be good.

I went to HS with Brandon Crawford and actually played on the same football team when I was in elementary school too. I hope he wins a ring.

Ya, it'll be good for all those reasons. I'm excited. I'll take Detroit in 6. Having JV rested and ready to pitch 2 of what I think 6 games sure helps.

Ozzie Guillen fired.

I refuse to support this team anymore. Loria and his goons are a freaking circus act.

I think the Tigers are winning this in five or six. This is like when the White Sox had that crazy rotation in 2005, I don't see anyone stopping them, especially with Verlander channeling his inner Hershiser.

So given how things are going, ZIto's totally gonna beat Verlander tomorrow. Marco Scutaro and Angel Pagan will go 4 for 4 with the cycle vs the best pitcher in baseball and I will break everything in my house with a baseball bat. Olbermann weighs in http://keitholbermann.mlblogs.com/2012/10/23/world-series-forecast/

Gotta be honest, my mind tells me Tigers but my instincts say Giants. I will go with the Giants in 7.

 • Superior defense. Tigers defense sucks except for the outfield and Avila throwing runners out, but with Young in LF, ouch.
 • Good bullpen with 3 lefties. Tigers have no closer and Coke's is awful against righties.
 • Decent offense that play small ball well and steals a lot of bases. Tigers starters are awful holding runners.
 • Good starting pitching, albeit not as good as Da MVP & Co.

Haven't been following the season much, but why is Lincecum a relief pitcher now? He was pitching poorly as a starter.... is that why? I guess so. I just answered my own question GG.

All of us Dodger fans who have seen the Gnats plenty this season just knew when that ball hit 3B and rolled into the OF that they were going to win. It seems like that team has had all the luck this year. I even figured Zito would get that RBI right there.....oh man
CHECK THE MAN'S PISS
I kid, no tinfoil hats for me
Hey... career years once again from scrub players, you know that's what we say in my neck of the woods. lol this dude from tonight "Panda probably traded his urine with Urinbe for three 5x5 from In-N-Out. "

Why is Pablo Sandoval considered a scrub? He's been solid for the Giants since they brought him up. The only issue he seems to have (besides keeping weight off) is that he is injury prone. Dude is a solid hitter and has been compared to Albert Pujols (hitting ability-wise) many times. Dodger fans just gotta hate! Oh, and how did your Red Sox trade work out? Ours went very well! ;)

No worries. I was more giving crap to the Dodgers fan. Haha! Here is a link to his stats page though just so you can be educated on why us Giants fans love Kung Fu Panda!http://espn.go.com/mlb/player/stats/_/id/29212/pablo-sandoval

Sandoval, Pence and Posey are legit, i don't consider them scrubs but thanks for putting words in my mouth there. The Red Sox trade was for one month and Crawford has yet to suit up for us, so yes pass judgement like every other ignorant person out there. If Kemp stayed healthy and the Milky got busted sooner the Dodgers would be in the playoffs and that's the truth. Edgar Renteria, Juan Uribe, Cody Ross, Aubrey Huff, no real baseball fan could possibly accept those guys were better than the 2010 Phillies or Rangers. This is all a product of Bud Selig's postseason. ^ Him and Fielder are still fat asses and i don't appreciate it, they make the game look like a joke. "Giant fans are famous front-runners." - Roger Angell in The Summer Game (1972) Dodger fans from the bay area are giving us the low down on all the front running going on over there now  "RT @MagicJohnson: My good friend David Stern announced his retirement today for 2014. He's been the greatest commissioner in all of sports." Well done Magic! Now get to work on running out Bozo Bud.

True, but I'll always wonder. SF outplayed the Tigers in every way except pitching. Fister and Bumgardener both played late, shame Doug had to take the loss though.

They shouldn't have pulled Fister. The longer our starters stay in the better. Our bullpen is atrocious.
