idk....it doesn't sound as good as the SNES version (obviously).

Anyways - did you guys see this? Is it only going to come out in PAL and not in NA!? I'm so sad...

Yeah, poor Europe usually gets left out in the cold when it comes to RPGs. Typically, if they even get them, they come out 6 months to a year after the game gets released in NA.

Indeed, emulators are a beautiful thing :wink: I just downloaded a SNES game emulator and downloaded: Terranigma, Secret of Mana, Tactics Ogre, and Chrono Trigger.

So I now have a PS1 and SNES emulator on my laptop :D muwahahahahha

I don't know. But cactuars specail move is " 1,000 Needles " in the game.

About FF VI if FF IV is successful as I believe it will be, I think it's quite likely they will make a FF VI remake for the ds

I'm so excited for the games I'll be getting for Christmas.....Parasite Eve 1 and 2 are games I've been looking at for a while and soon they shall be mine! :twisted: kryu88

Just quick FFT:WOTL update for me. I'm still in the beginning of Chapter III. I've mastered every job with everybody, except summoner because i need that stupid zodark summon. So, now i commence into the game tonight. Finally! After 76+ hours.WSGRandomPerson

For spoiler tags you have to [ spoiler ] text [ /spoiler ] just take out the spaces and it should hide it. Though, GS being glitchy it may tell you your HTML is not well formed or something. :?

I had 8 level 99 characters but Cloud came in so late in the game that he only made level 93 by the end battle. My fifth character was level 97. Cloud had almost every job mastered. The other 8 were all complete. I kind of got bored in trying to master the last jobs with Cloud so I decided to complete the game. I may go back to my save and finish Cloud's jobs.

Well, I've had so much cash just sitting in my pocket I decided to buy a DS Lite along with FFXII: Revanent Wings and Lumious Arc. I haven't actually played on it yet, waiting for it to charge, but I'm eager to continue playing in the world of FFXII.kryu88

Watching the miniture Vaan and Penelo perform the same end battle celebrations is kind of cool also. They did a good job of matching it from FF12.

so how does FFXII RW play exactly? from what ive heard-it sounds like a RTS.Cronaroth

It sort of is like a RTS but a lot of the battle is automated. Basically, you tell a unit lead by one of the main characters to attack the enemy unit to start but only one attack command is needed. That unit will keep attacking until that foe is dead.

There is one gambit for each party unit which they will use if it is charged (each one can only be used so often). After the gambit is used, they do their normal attack until the gambit is ready again.

Magic and ranged units automatically stay back to attack.

If a unit is attacked, they automatically attack back with out being commanded. It isn't as in depth as FFT:WOTL where each move is controlled.

There is a rock, paper, scissors type setup also. Melee units are good against ranged but bad against flying. Flying are good againt melee but bad against range, etc...

It is kind of a entry level action RTS.

After playing FFT:WOTL, it is a nice change to see the characters think somewhat for themselves.
