Yea! I actually did finish that game! XD It was lots of fun! Although the last 'battle' wasn't what I thought it was going to be. But I really did have quite a lot of fun with that game, didn't think I'd get so much enjoyment out of it...

So did i and i to found it to be a great game the minigames and card battles are entertaining enough :D.

Yea! It had some great minigames! Some lead to quite a lot of frustration however....but some were just plain aewsome. I really loved the Malboro one and the Bomb one. Card battles were good too, yea! I never did get all the cards though...some of those mini games were too hard! XD

I got this for Christmas from a non-gamer friend. The reviews looked good but it also looked kind of kiddie so I was wondering.

Now I just need to have more hours in a day to find time to play it and all the other games! :(

Well, i know more about FFVI now. My friend brought it over for the pass two days. I've watched him play on my TV ( GBA Adaptar to the GC. ) So far, i'm not quite understand the storyline. The characters. i really don't like. The chocobo riding would seem to **** me off...alot.

I just found out that there was another FF Crystal Chronicle's title besides Ring of Fates(DS) and Crystal Bearers(Wii), I know it's old news but it got me thinking, has anyone here played the original FF Crystal Chronicles for the gamecube? if so how was it?

And on a different note I'm finally getting FFT WotL tomorrow :D.

I personally thought it was okay overall. It was a beautifully crated game visually and acoustically, but was clearly designed as a multi-player game. This wouldn't be an issue if it weren't for the fact that the multi-player mode required each player to have their own GBA (and GBA/GC link cable). The single player game is diverting for a while, but does wear thin before the end, basically because the most interesting features are in the multi-player mode.

If you have friends and GBAs (plus link cables), then I'd recommend it. If not, then I personally don't think you should go too far out of your way to get it (maybe pick it up out of the bargain bin).

Sorry Ark. I probably don't understand it completly because he probably put around 20 hours, and i've only seen about 6 hours played infront of me. All i've come up with Kefka is not nice..( Was going to use a different world, use you imagination. ) Just this one point made him mean to me [spoiler] When he took all the power from shiva, and ifrit and random other summons/espers and just kinda threw them in a ditch. [/spoiler] His laugh is obnoxious too..

That's the point of Kefka. He's just a twisted, corrupted, sadistic, muderer. What I really like about him is, that he started out as a human, and had to aquire his powers through things like manipulation, decit, blackmail, double-crossing, etc.

Most of the villains in FF had powers and just got more to be more stronger. kefka started with none. This is a major reason why I prefer him to Sephiroth(Sephy had powers and skill with a sword, while kefka had neither).

There's a reason why Kefka is awesome-he means business. He doesnt give over elaborate speeches. He's just f'n insane and I love it. Kefka>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Sephiroth :)Cronaroth

Yea! Kefka is amazing...purely evil genius. I love him, best villain ever. If SE ever comes up with another villain close as amazing as him...aww I'll just be so happy! ^_^ :P

Oh, I have the original CC. And I love it! I don't know what it is about this game but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The single player and the multiplayer. Of course, it's way more fun with multiplayer.... :P

ah yeah I think I remember some pennyarcade webcomic making fun of that fact, well it still looks pretty cool, I might pick it up eventually, if only to understand more of the story of FFCC Ring of Fates.

The entire script was basically rewritten....bah. They changed a bunch of names of locations and people too.

What?? I haven't trained at all....... and I'm doing fine... at 48% through the game....

I've barely had to level at all.... it's pretty easy... especially compared with every single other strategy game I've ever played before it...

has anyone played Valkyrie Profile 2 Silmeria? if you have, do you find it to be WAY to hard in most parts of the game?smootheyes2

Yes i have and yes it is an extremely hard game but its also a very good game.

Both Valkyrie Profile games are really hard. I never finished 2, but I played the original and it was basically hard the entire game. No matter what level you were you could be killed by the encounters with the generic dungeon monsters. VP games are by no means easy...

Hrist and the final boss were the 2 that gave me the most issues! I don't remember a great strategy for either. I think that I just got lucky in the attacks that the boss chose in my winning battles.

I finished both VP2 and the PSP version of VP.

It is worth the difficultly in both games! I really liked the redone cut scenes in VP on the PSP. (didn't finish the original VP)

I did training some early on in the game but after the sneak mission, I have had no issues. I'm currently in Chapter 7. Not sure of the completion but I think it is near 60%.

it was pretty hard, but i didn't find it took me more then 1 or 2 tries to beat most of the bosses. apart from the last boss, i thought i had awesome stats when i went to fight him but he killed me in about 4 or 5 turns. of course when i used all the stat maxing stuff i had on valkyrie it was a bit easier. but yeah, it is a pretty awesome game.

wow, don't even get me started on VP:Lenneth.......great game, in fact my first PSP game though i got it for $40 cuz i was naive.............butit was an amazing game.........one of my favorite rPGs of all time..........and i loved the difficulty! athough it did take me about 10 minutes to kill loki at the end........and also to try for teh A ending, that was hard too......TriEdgeFury26

I lent this game to a friend and he asked me about it when he returned it last night. Started me thinking but I could not find anything...
