It's already been announced FFXIII is an exclusive. :) Andraxal
Same with Lost Odyssey:)
Guess what I played today guys!!!
Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings and It's a Wonderful World!!!!!!!!! :D
Hahahahaha, by some....means.... :| my brother-in-law is able to get a bunch of DS games (from anywhere, Japan, Europe, you name it) on his DS and so I played both of them.
I really, really, really want SE to bring It's a Wonderful World stateside. It's such a fun game! Although I really had no idea what was going on (there is a lot of reading - remember, I was playing in Japanese!), the battle system still manages to be fast paced and tons of fun. Later on in the game you get a partner and they battle on the top screen while you play on the bottom screen. You can control either one but if you leave the top one idle for a while, she goes on auto. The music is a mix of crazy japanese hip-hop and techno, really fun and adds to the fast-paced craziness of the battle system. I just really wish I knew Japanese so I could've known what was going on and gotten to know the story better. Learning how to play was easy though, since the tutorial was mostly pictures and showed what to do.
And I know I wasn't really sure whether I was going to like RW's battle system, but after playing it tonight...it's really fun! A bit slower paced than XII's but still really good! I got to team up with Penelo, Balthier, Fran, Kyte and other two people while I played. The tutorial demos are very inuitive and show you exactly how to play (even though I had no idea what it was saying). The cutscenes are really well done and of very high quality. You get to visit a bunch of places from XII (Rabanastre, Low Town) and new places too! The music serves up some real nostalgia since most of the score is from XII as well.
Anyway...just thought I'd share this with you guys! :)

Kyte was in FFXII! He was Vaan's friend in Rabanastre!

Holy crap! You're lucky! I've been real curious about how It's a Wonderful World plays. The previewers on other sites made it sound like the game was so confusing to control. But, if it's that easy and fun, they should definately be bought over here. I love how the game looks too! Thanks for sharing with us :)
Well i still have to beat .hack//GU vol 2 & 3 before i start on the original 4, so i don't know much about what kite was, but i do know what he became...
Man i love that Kuja quote.N8A
I'm guessing you didn't play the original .hacks? They all featured Kite, I only played the first one for a few hours....then got bored and didn't bother to play it again

I played part of vol1 as well.. and really enjoyed it.. so I tried to get the other three in the original series... I'm still missing one of them though, and it has now been so long that I find the thought of going back to the games quite daunting... they're definately interesting games though.

I've seen crazier games here, this one is at least useful on some level :p

I didn't get into the combat, the story had me kinda intrigued, but the combat killed it for me.

I can understand that: the game mechanics were very simplistic, but the story (especially the setting, which was brilliant) and the characters kept me going for the first three games.
I guess I'll start then.
Wow, the Dhoulmagus fight (2nd phase(DQVIII)) was so much easier than the last time I fought him o.O Last time I struggled to stay alive and I used most of my items. This time I hardly broke a sweat and I didn't even run out of MP. Weird how you can have so much trouble on a boss battle one time and not another.

Lady_Bahamut
It's even funnier when you're battling him having achieved the requirements for the "proper" ending.
I was wondering, is there anyone in the union who actually thinks FF3 for the ds is a great game?Fenian_lostsoul
I don't know  Most of the stuff I hear about it are that it's pretty much average-horrible. I haven't run into anybody yet that says it was a great game.
I prefer the NES original...the 3D graphics are just horrible....for DS standards its hideous and it made the game lose all of it's charm. I love the NES/Famicom original...dont care much for the remake.Cronaroth
Where did you get that idea? The graphics were great:lol:

God yes XD I hate battling that silly dragon guy XD
I don't know if anybody saw this yet, but BlueLagunahas the Crisis Core Soundtrack uploaded. I haven't downloaded too many of them, but most of them are pretty much rehashes of the FFVII soundtrack....just worse, imo.
kryu88
Yeah. People get tired hearing the same songs over and over again.

It started out quite good, but it doesn't keep you interested. I do NOT like the saving system - it makes it really frustrating when you get to dungeons that are long. On the other hand, i personally didn't mind the graphics at all....not the BEST, of course, but still kinda cute:)

That's a great attitude, it is a good game after all, and definitely worth forming your own opinion over :)

Have you heard about voice acting in FFIVDS ?
FFIVDS website
Click on movie and watch on the special trailer, the video on the left. The game seems very promising.
