Yeah the demo was pretty cool, I'm definetely getting Folklore next week along with a copy of FF T for the psp.

I saw that Phantom Hourglass received some really great reviews and scores. I wonder whether you need to play Wind Walker before to understand the story in this one, or not

Yeah, Buffalo routers are pretty sweet. My friends and family have had problems with their d-links or netgears resetting their connections and stuff but I have never had a problem with mine. Buffalo routers = awesome!

Folklore looks so great! I think if I had a PS3, I'd probably buy it. I am so psyched on getting Phantom Hourglass today though!! But first I have to bring my cat to the vet, I think she is sick. :(

Wow Kuja, the 2nd ZoE game is very good. Although it's short it feels more like an anime rather than a game. Although the action is VERY good, the battle game engine is GREAT, and the overall feel is SUPURB. You bought a bunch of games I already like! :) ZoE has a classic old school feel about it doesn't it? I'm currently enjoying Soul Nomad: And The World Eaters. :) It's great,o I love the tactical elements, as well as special attacks, the intriguing story with it's cruel and tempting plot twists. :) Andraxal

2nd Runner is by far better than the original. The combat is faster, more furious, and very satisfying. I love grabbin an enemy and swingin em around and throwing them into another group of enemies :lol: The story is also very intriguing (it is a lot like an anime) and has me keep on playin. It kinda goes back and forth between story development for about 5-10 minutes and then you fight for about 5-10 minutes. But, the story has me and the characters are likable, so I enjoy the mix of story and fun combat. I'll be glad to review this game when I'm done :D :twisted:

You don't need to thoroughly play through Wind Waker to understand the story of Phantom Hourglass (so far anyway). It pretty much completely recaps Wind Waker at the start of Phantom Hourglass so no problems there. ;) I beat the first temple yesterday and it was so much fun! I got the boomerang and it is just so awesome to be able to throw it with the stylus!! I am just loving the game so much!

Ahh...holiday season...I am going to be so broke by the end of the year. Who is picking up THE ORANGE BOX next week!!!!! :D I will!!! I know....I just bought a game this week, and then I'm going to buy one next week....I told you guys, I'm gonna be broke. ;) I can't wait to play it though! The whole HL2 saga, Team Fortress 2 AND Portal all in one game! Can't wait! My poor PC is gonna be on all the time! :lol:

IGN gave it a 9.0, video review

Both very interesting perspectives. Me, as a comic fan, find the the cutscenes' sty.le pretty awesome. The pause after you assign your abilities(folks) wasn't on the demo but I don't think I will mind it that much, you know most people agree that once you get it, you will either love or hate this game. I guess I can only wait for my copy to arrive :)

Yep, s-tyle is one of those words that GS says is, forbidden!!! :shock: along with a couple others for some reason...you can avoid it though by quick quoting or turning off your HTML editor.

Before you guys go saying I hate FF(yuna, Celes), I'm just saying that games like Folklore get mediocre scores, while games that have FF in th titles get a pretty good score.

I'm not saying FF is bad, but I am saying that GS is getting a little biased in their reviews. If FFXIII bombed big time(don't worry, it won't), I think they would still give it a good score, while if the same exact game was released and NOT have FF in the title, it would get a bad score.

hmm.. only 20 hrs of gameplay? I'm getting sorta tired of all these short games considering the price.... I'll definately have to wait for Folklore to get cheaper if I'm going to buy it.

I think that's the linear part of the game, you have to count too the rpg elements like looking for clues and solving mysteries, also there is this feature where you can create dungeons and upload them to PSN and share them with other players I think that will add hours of gameplay and fun. Still I can see why a good number of people won't like this game, but I think I will enjoy it.

I know it's kinda silly but I guess that for the PS3 you sometimes hope for something more spectacular regarding graphic stuff(cutscenes etc)

That still shouldn't hold against its score though. Once again - Wind Waker is my example. I definitely wanted something more Twilight Princess looking, but we got Wind Waker instead. That still doesn't make it a bad game though. I just think there is a big difference between bad graphics and a simple graphical s.tyle. I don't know, maybe it's just me! :P

Before you guys go saying I hate FF(yuna, Celes), I'm just saying that games like Folklore get mediocre scores, while games that have FF in th titles get a pretty good score.

I'm not saying FF is bad, but I am saying that GS is getting a little biased in their reviews. If FFXIII bombed big time(don't worry, it won't), I think they would still give it a good score, while if the same exact game was released and NOT have FF in the title, it would get a bad score.

*sigh* I really don't wanna start anything, but maybe FF games get good scores 'cause oh I dunno, they're good, quality games?

Too bad it's a little short, kinda silly that they would downgrade the score b/c of its graphical s.tyle. WW had a unique graphical s.tyle but that was still a great game. I think they should be able to say that they didn't like it, but I don't think that should affect its score.

I know it's kinda silly but I guess that for the PS3 you sometimes hope for something more spectacular regarding graphic stuff(cutscenes etc)

Oh yeah controlling the boomerang in PH is sick! The controls are just so tight! (Rolling is an exception though). I just played some today and I got a cannon for my boat!!!! I guess you can update your boat pretty extensively. Which is cool since you didn't get to do any of that in WW. I am really liking the game so far, I will probably play some more tonight! I wanna beat it soon though so I can continue playing Chrono Trigger and Pokemon.

Hm...I have no clue! This is my first time playing through Diamond so I have no clue! I remember in the Gold/Silver versions there were two leagues, and 16 badges to get. Gold/Silver were my favourite versions.

lol, I know! I feel like they are just making up new Pokemon just for the hell of it you know? Just to have more for the next version. It's like the first added 100 (gold/silver) where still cool. But then it felt like they were running out of ideas and came up with some really really dumb pokemon, lol.
