The Collector's Edition is coming out in the U.S.. I don't think Japan is getting it.

It is, but only for pre orders, the game will be out here januray 31 if I remember correcly.

I've had to stop playing DDS, it kinda freaked me out last night when I was in bed >_> I know, I'm a wimp and I freely admit that, I just don't like anything scary or creepy. I have to ask, I was looking forward to Persona 3 but is it as freaky as DDS? Otherwise I'll forget asking for it for my birthday now.Lady_Bahamut

Hmm....What was it that bothered you specifically? I'm very squeamish, but I was able to cope with DDS: the only part that really freaked me out was the intro when everyone transformed into demons and...well...you know the rest.

If it makes you feel better, you can tell me via PM or MSN if you'd rather not talk about it on the boards (that is if you're prepared to talk about it at all, of course ;) ). :)

Even though I have a 360, I'm getting it for the PS3. I don't want to play a game like that with the clunky 360 controller.

I've play a couple of text based AD&D games but I haven't heard of this one....

On a different note, finally finished Blue Dragon. That was a much better game then the 6 that GS gave it. LONG though. Took me over 100 hours!

I think they released one for *** PSN store earlier 2007, but they took it off by the time Igot a ps3 at any rate. I whish they could release the demo that was avaliable at the TGS it was awesome, with a boss fight against that fire centaur demo(I can't remember his name right now), it was really long too.

Blue Dragon was good. There were some slower parts (like in the 2nd disk) but the story made up for it.

Unlike GS, I actually liked the characters in the game. There were a LOT of cut scenes (some only a minute long and others almost 10) but they were inserted well.

I LOVED the battle system. It is turn based based on how quick the player or monster is (like several other games). If I can find the time, I'll play it again but change how I build the characters when I find enough free time. ;)

I've played (and actaully completed!) 3, 4 and Alter Code F.

I just started Wild Arms 5 now that Blue Dragon is done (god forbid I don't have at least 5 games going at the same time! :roll: ) and it is developing a really funny plot thread!

I tried to play DMC3, but got bored....fast. If I wanna play a game where all I do is jump and hack n slash, I'll stick to Dynasty Warriors (DW6 comin out in Feb!!!) which I enjoy a whole lot more.

I've seen Wild Arms in GAME. I haven't even thought of getting it because I don't know how good the series is.

Alter Code F was my favorite in the series so far. Had a good story with some really nice plot twists. Actually 3 and 4 did also. I just liked the story in Alter Code F best! :)

Who here owns Folklore? I played the demo last night and absolutely loved it. The environments are so cool...really feels like you're in a fairy tale.queen_valentine

Folklore's been out for a little bit. I would guess that it's price will fall in a few months...

I've got Folklore and it is worth a purchase. The story goes back and forth from Ellen and Keats so you are seeing the same story from two different perspectives and that makes it more interesting. Gathering the different Folks is sort of like Pokemon and some are really challenging to get, but worth it once you absorb them. The graphics are very pretty...there are points where the glow given off by the environments kinda blinds you though..or at least they did to me. :lol:

Yeah. Amazon posted both games. They have this deal that if the price goes down before release, they will give me the lower price.

I've pre-ordered a couple of games/books this way and they actually do it!

Don't know about a special edition. If there is one, it may not go on sites until later.
