I love Odin Sphere!!! I have it! It's pretty fun, but the big thing about the game is the graphics. They're so beautiful.

Well, anyway. Odin Sphere's battle system is a very fast-paced real-time action hack-n-slash. It's also a 2D scroller so that adds to the fun. The menus are easily accessible through the touch of a button and there's lots of use of combos and such.

On a different note, I just found out that a spin-offs of both Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Folklore are gonna be released for the PSP :D

Odin Sphere is a stand-alone RPG, its a 2-D side scrolling brawler...RPG...it has an interesting combination of gaming elements that were pulled off well apparently. Its gotten pretty good reviews from most gaming webs/magazines.

Odin Sphere does stand alone but it was bases off a PS1 game that I forgot about but i will update later. Please buy that game you will love it I promise. but Nippon Ichimakes great games and i like him as a game designer...... Xenosaga was a good game at first to but then trailed off to me so after midway thorugh playeing two i stopped... someone explain this SPOILERS how the heck you fight a fortress in a castle????

From the demo of heavenly sword I will buy that anyway, because I LOVE IT. Lair however... controls are the biggest part of that game. I don't play dawn of mana because I don't like the controls so I'd probably end up abandoning hope for Lair as well. Plus, I'm really really horrible at timed missions.

Absolutely!! I love SNES games!! Graphics are not my favourite thing about games.. but when it comes to a game centered upon flying on dragons of course I care about the graphics. I think dragons are beautiful and if you can't showcase them then you haven't created a game that will intreague me. I'm just sad that they didn't make it as enjoyable to play as it is to watch. I'd rather have a game that is fun to play, and that has great character development. It is just in lair's case that I am considering buying a game simply for graphics.

I'm just saying if your comp can run it. My friend had to change a few things on his comp to run it. You should get it for the 360, because it would run better.

Wow! It seems like you really enjoyed Jeanne D'arc! That's wonderful! It's always a good feeling when you get a game that you knew you wanted but didn't think it would be as great as you previously expected!

What I was really looking for was Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3, but I found Devil Summoner instead. I wanted to go out and buy a cheap game today, so that one had to do! I was debating between that, Star Ocean or one of the Suikodens (they had III-V).

WAAAAHHH! Go back and grab Suiko 3!!! That's an awesome game, the second best of the series!!! (Suiko 2 being the greatest :P )

The local Gamestop here isn't very good. They have sales, but even then they are maybe 2$ off of the real prices. Just like EBGames. They may sell used DS games, with no instruction booklet, for 5$ off the regular price. For a 5$ difference I'm just going to buy the new edition booklet included. I mean come on, how does anyone really just not buy a new edition when they have horrid sales like that? Anyway, I've picked up most of my Non-SquareEnix games like that, I've got a nice collection of games, it'd be a true shame if I traded them in now as they'd probably net me less than $100. :( Anyway, you can't put a price tag on memories....Ooops sounding emotional again. It's too bad your GameStop doesn't have good sales. The used games in mine takes off $5-$15 off a used game. It also depends when it was released and in what condition it is too.

I totally agree with you regarding Suikoden IV. They really did a terrible job with that one, probably the worst in the series (Hauheuhaeuh up to now I remember how depressing it was to sail around the world... it was so freaking slow!!!). But they also did a great job afterwards, with Suikoden V! Talking about Suikoden, I hope they announce VI pretty soon... it is a wonderful series that deserved more recognition.

I don't know what Ipod thinks, but I thought that Dead Rising was rather good. Gears of War is also very impressive, but I personally prefer Bioshock (really creepy atmosphere) and Half Life 2. Oh, and I can't wait for Fable 2. :D

I own an X360 and I happy with it in the main, but there have been some serious hardware issues. My machine doesn't run that well, but I haven't (yet) seen the "Red Ring of Death" (though I have a friend who has). I'm not sure if Microsoft has resolved these issues yet, but I personally recommend you get an X360 once they do.
