[QUOTE="queen_valentine"][QUOTE="Kenshin18"] [QUOTE="Andraxal"]You guys are off topic... :roll:I heard that the FMV sequences have voice acting, that's a major plus in my book. :) It makes me hope the voice acting is as good as the Lion War. Andraxal
ha ha, I guess it kinda has. But, I think overall, people here are worried that in whatever game they want remade by SE, the voice acting will not live up to their expectations, and it'd bring down the experience they're expecting.
As long as it's like XII's VA, I have no problem! :)
You know the sad part is a lot of people hated the voices of Ivalice in the newest installment of Final Fantasy. Wheather it was because you had to actually think when they spoke, perhaps the different dialects, or the use of actors from places other than America was what trigger their hatred; I truly liked the voices of Final Fantasy XII. They all seemed to fit seamlessly, and not a one in the game I would change, except Al Cid. I really hate him. His phonyness, and accent drive me crazy. I thought Cidolfus' voice was SUPERB, Balthier's matched exquisetly, and Gabranths was done extraordinarily.I think it was the best voice acting in a game I'd ever heard. I liked how everyone sounded different, like there was a real Ivalice, and each person had their own dialect, it made it seem that much more real. If they keep their efforts up like this, I'll be real excited when they announce voice acting for FFIV.
I think it was the dialect. Old English can be hard to understand. But if you pay attention, you'll be OK.
I too agree that the VA was top-notch. It was believeable and expressive. It didn't sound phony (although I do think Al Cid was just a stupid character) or forced. It was perfect. I loved the accents and I loved the dialect - there was believability to it. It made it sound more real.
Balthier's voice was my favourite. And Fran's. Well, Balthier's just my favourite as a whole, 'cause he just rocks so bad. :P
FFIVDS is gonna have VA?
