[QUOTE="lostrib"][QUOTE="pcgamingowns"] You are a fool the intergrated graphics chip APU can run graphics higher than crysis 3 on ps3/360pcgamingowns
we're not comparing it to ps3
still run it with better graphics than killzone shadows fall.it can't even produce a playable frame rate @1080 on med. Â maybe it can at 720 at low

Kaveri will be the first suitable APU for next-gen gaming. We'd be waiting 1-2 more releases to get to PS4 level, so maybe 1-2yrs. from now.Â
APUs are cool, and you can get some great performance boost with hybrid xfire in titles like Crysis and Battlefield, but I wouldn't recommend them for a core gamer just yet.Â

There's a lot of things missing in that build for $399, and having an APU+GPU xfire htpc myself, I can tell you that you're gonna run into some serious memory bandwidth problems for that APU going with DDR3-1333.
With KB/M, optical drive, and upgraded RAM+PSU you'll be looking more like $450. At that point you might as well drop another $50-60 and get a system built around a 7790 that includes 3 free games right now. Going APU in anything but a htpc sff build is backwards and more costly for less power.Â

who the hell doesnt have a keyboard and mouse? everyone here does from their old shitty pc. you can digitally buy the game dont need optical drive bandwidth=no issue on main ram and the powersupply is fine i know what it comes with. This is the powersupply that pc comes with.

Poor damage control.Â
Here's WoW on Trinity, which is a perfect game for this level of gfx power...
A 18% drop in frames in this case shows how critical memory bandwidth is.
---
Here's Richland taking on Tomb Raider at 1080p, a game with plenty of advanced "next-gen" features.
"Normal" presets yields 17fps, or completely unplayable rates. Now this is with DDR3-1600 in the testbed, so with DDR3-1333 it would be even worse.

Running a 7970 on a low quality 400 W PSU is a recipe for a disaster... that thing would blow up in less than a week.

it's not a low quality powersupply it's actually a very good single rail powersupply with a lifetime warranty. they overrate the power usage on cards never hit the power draw they claim. It's possible I think. But what does it matter? You will still not be able to play console exclusives.
You won't play games like the last of us on a pc, if you're pc only, you're missing out...on almost everything.
Suppaman100
PC has more exclusives than all the consoles combined, so it's ironic that you say such a stupid statement. Â If you're console only, you're missing out on more games actually. Â Herp Derp

Yep... look at that, 20A on a +12V rail... that's only 240W, a horrible PSU.
This would be a nice little disaster, that thing would put your damn house on fire.

nope you have no clue. graphics cards never hit their peak power usage applications dont push em enough. run 7970 with easeit's almost like when a car maker rates engine at hp at the flywheel instead of at the wheels ohh this car's 200 hp at the fly but really only pushing 100 and some at the rear wheels.
