[QUOTE="Bebi_vegeta"] Sure Plasma are better then any other HDTV types for now... but LED are not that far behind. Projector are by far the worst, IMO.Mozelleple112Well that's because you've never seen a good projector in a dedicated room. They are by far the best, if done right.
I guess if you have a cave or you only use it at night.

That's exactly correct. You'll need to completely block out all light for starters (I had to pay nearly $200 per window to completely block out the light with special shades, as I live in an apartment and don't have a basement to turn into a man cave). If you want contrast performance superior to high end plasmas you'll have to paint the entire room with non-reflective matte black paint, and cover all shiny surfaces / turn off all standyby lights. Then a good projector fron Sony or JVC. It takes dedication and a good room, but it is TOTALLY worth it if you value picture quality and love watching movies etc. the picture quality will be 100 times better than a tiny hundred dollar school projector in a bright class room, and still several times better than most commercial cinemas. This is why most people have the misconception that projectors have poor picture quality.Â[QUOTE="edwardecl"]
I still play PC games at 1080p and probably will for the foreseeable future.
My main concern when buying PC hardware is the power consumption, sure you can have a HD7990 nad have it sound like a jet taking off but not for me. Thr HD7850 is bad enough for me. I was really pressed going over 120watts because i know the fan noise would become an issue.
As for 4K, yeah right LOL.

To be fair that chart/review is pretty flawed (why would you take a 50-65% performance hit by turning AA/AF on max when your running 4x the resolution of 1080p ? Ruining your performance on AA/AF when your running a super high resolution to start with is counter productive........).http://www.tested.com/tech/pcs/456671-4k-monitor-vs-4-geforce-gtx-titans/

What I would recommend (assuming you live in the US) is sell your 560ti for $120-140 and then pay $80-100 out of pocket for a 7950boost (AMD slashed the prices recently to clear stock). A 7950 boost can easily get 1000-1050mhz core clock without even adjust the volts (virtually no risk since your not messing with the volt) and it will rival a 7970ghz/680 (all for only $60-80 out of pocket).I have a GTX560 Ti, so according to that chart (which I see I don't even make it to) I would get even less frame rate as the Kennedy assassination film which is 8fps. Its not uncommon at all for the dual fan 560s to got for $130-140 while the single fan (stock) cooler version go for around $120

I have a old kuro and it has no problems at all and has a great picture. The only picture I have seen that can beat it is a OLED. OLED's cost over 10k and I hear the new panasonic plasma might be equal to my old ass kuro. Same deal with my old sony fw900 crt monitor the new crap still can't match the picture. The only drawback is the both use way more power than lcd/led screens and are bigger. I can only guess your a little kid or a clueless adult who bought some rubbish on sale at bestbuy.

Depends how far you're siting from your screen and the size of it. But please go back to play games on a SDTV if your happy about that.

MS has stated that this will be the console for the next 10 years. In this life cycle 1080p may become a thing of the past and 4K may become the norm. This article discusses how 4k gaming will be supported on the X1 and not on the PS4. I don't know how they plan on doing this but it seems interesting. Yes the PS4 will support 4K but only for pictures and video that was recorded in 4K.
