PS4 won't do 4k Native, that's for sure.
Neither will your PC lol. And just standard generic swiftech D5 pumps? No tops? And you said before that you got rid of the GPU waterbuck aright?PC can do it.
Oh yes, I do have tops, don't remember which one. Either way, generic are ok.
Got rid of the GPU water block ? Right now only my CPU is in a loop and only using 1 rad.
Also, what does this have anything to do with water cooling being easy ?

My reason for water cooling are not mainly for sound, but mostly for overclocking.
D5 are not that noisy, are you playing on muet or something ?

4k... lol.
a quick quiz for sw.
name one game whose basic gameplay  was ever made better by resolution.
notice how you can't do that?
why?
because resolution cannot improve gameplay.
4k hype is bullshyt made up to sell your gullible ass a new tv.
Bebi_vegeta
Depends how far you're siting from your screen and the size of it. But please go back to play games on a SDTV if your happy about that.
i can't help but notice that  at no place did you have an example of resolution making gameplay better.why any of you guys would sacrifice draw distance, a.i., onscreen enemies, or frames per second for resolution i will never understand.
do you just not understand how system asset allocation works?
you really want fluff over things that make gameplay better?
imo that is a wierd choice to make.

Of course, and that is why 4k is practically useless. When we jumped to 1080p nobody said 1080p is useless because you need a 65" TV to get the benefit of 1080p. The xbone and ps4 keep disappointing. At the moment, it's looking like the Wii U will be almost on the same level as them, despite the number difference, particularly since the archictecture between all 3 is relatively on par with each other.
Back on topic, the xbone and ps4 are struggling to render these so-called "next gen" titles at 720p, much less 1080p, how does m$ expect to get to 4k resolutions?

But now with 4k, the smarter people realize it's useless because to get the benefit you need a screen between 100-150 inches big..For movies I would agree, but games are quite different. The game world is rendered in only 2 million pixels in 1080P, that still leaves lots of room for jaggies and crawling edges especially if it has bad AA and using a deferred renderer.
Games that use deferred renderer will become more and more common in the future, and with it AA troubles. TXAA is a good method to get rid of most jaggies, but quite hardware costly and probably not feasible for console games.
Downsampling from higher resolutions is still the best method to get rid of jaggies, but very hardware intensive as well.
I'd say games rendered in 4K are probably extremely smooth and very little AA is necessary. That's the advantage, only for gaming and only if you have the money.
Personally I will wait until there's a good affordable 4K Plasma or OLED that beats current high end Plasmas. Then I'll make the jump.
haha. xbone can't play crap at 4k. i'm a little sceptical about even 1080p with these next-gen consoles.

The Xbox One and PS4 already struggle running numerous games at 720p/30. Even with years of optimization and experience, native 4k gaming is not happening on consoles this generation, unless its some sort of 2D side-scroller that looks like it was produced in the 80's.

Do you know about the size and distance relation for resolution ?
Of course, and that is why 4k is practically useless. When we jumped to 1080p nobody said 1080p is useless because you need a 65" TV to get the benefit of 1080p. But now with 4k, the smarter people realize it's useless because to get the benefit you need a screen between 100-150 inches big.. 4K benefits start to come around 70 inches. 1080p was 42 inches 8K is about 150 inches.[QUOTE="Bebi_vegeta"][QUOTE="m3Boarder32"] Of course, and that is why 4k is practically useless. Which for PC gamers, 4k will be a plus.
Like I said, hermits could barely fit 27" 1440p screens on their tiny cluttered desks, now they're suddenly gonna fit 40" 4k TV's? Lol!Don't be mad brah.

Depends on the distance.
[QUOTE="clyde46"][QUOTE="m3Boarder32"] About 99% of what I've seen from hermits is as cluttered as your spacem3Boarder32Show your evidence then. As soon as Jankarcop post proof that I ever said 1080p is a waste
So you don't have any?

It's always depends on the viewing distance as well[QUOTE="m3Boarder32"]
