Alan Wake flopped 10 times harder than Killzone 3

Considering that Alan Wake was suppose to be a 360 launch title it was medicore. I was pissed that I paid 60 dollars for it. Heavy rain owned it in everyway. Silent_Ninja87

Alan Wake was not hyped as the HALO KILLER! :lol:

Killzone might be one of the biggest flop series ever just because of all the "HALO KILLER OMG!" I enjoyed Killzone2, but it was not anything to amazing. Killzone 1 was horrible, Killzone 3 looks like alot of fun.

Alan Wake turned out better then I expected to be honest.

To me Alan Wake and Heavy Rain are AAA games, dont care what gamespot rated em, those were two games with fantastic atmosphere and story.

Two flops don't cancel each other out TC.

All 360 flops will be remembered by PS3 gamers and vice versa.

PC and Wii don't/rarely have hype threads so they don't have as much flops :P

Alan wake was a huge flop. I would be surprised if remedy games is going to make a sequel. It was hyped as the graphic king and the next big xbox 360 ip. And failed at even getting close to either. It sold 6,000 more than heavenly sword and less than mag. Killzone 3 is going to sell at least 300k first month.

Yeah my save crashed twice. First time it erased itself, the second time my file just would not load. So I started on the chapter before and just did a straight run until I beat the game without saving it once. It actually made the game more dramatic since I had no save.

Two things, first off, Alan Wake was a breath of fresh air, and was one of the better games of last year. I would agree with the review score it got, as I didn't think it lived up to my expectations. However, that by no means would make it a bad game. Secondly, if last year I couldn't make the claim that Mass Effect 2 was a console exclusive....then I'm certainly never going to let you make the claim that Killzone 3 is console graphics king. So yeah...you fail.

Mostly graphical hype. As I remember, Alan Wake was claimed by lemmings as the first AAAAE exclusive with best graphics on consoles.

Yeah.

GT5 is gonna be amazing no doubt. But its not going to be a perfect 10. Forza 3 and GT5 will get the same or at least about the same score.

Forza 3will be an excellent game but will be absolutely overshadowed by this masterpiece. At least AAAE.

Even more than Halo destroyed Killzone. Turn 10 are brilliant.
