Game looks better than that on PC.

Looks like a higher res 360 version. Looks great but there are more impressive games on PC.

It looks like same old Alan Wake but with crisper more defined graphics. Nothing extraordinary.

To be fair, I thought it looked excellent on the 360 as well. Yeah it lacked resolution, maybe some texture love...but amazing none the less.

i expected much more..looks good.. but didn't met my expectations to be honest.

meh trees and grass look kinda bad but just looks like a high res 360 game with a couple of effects turn on.

Looks good on xbox360 and looks great on PC.

Graphics are not the games best aspect, but its nice to see it looks alot better on PC. I mean nothing that will blow you away, but far from being bad graphically. To me Alan Wake is more about its atmosphere, story and characters then its graphics.

Own the collectors edition of the 360 version but when this goes on sale on steam Ill get it, always nice to have the best/definitive version of good games :)

Where's the modest 'looks good' option for the people that have higher standards from 2012 PC releases, even if they were console timed exclusives?

I don't know if it's more the art or just being so reminscent, but the game reminds me of Left 4 Dead 2 in a way, I guess with the types of objects and the level of geometry of the world itself, and the overall average level resolution texturing (but art wise it looks good!). It looks like an advanced Source Engine with better lighting and shadowing effects I guess.

Downloading right now. Can't wait to play an even better version of a kick ass game.

It looks way better in motion. The only strong point the game has is its shadows and lighting. Everything else is mediocre.

yep, they always do that. Consolites are the epitome of double standards. Always talk about how mods don't count either yet if they got mod tools for their consoles I bet they would count then
