Sorry to stop the hate train so early, but this is based on screengrabs from the first 20 minutes videos posted at videogameszone.de, which was downsampled to 960x540 to avoid massive latency.

Also, it was confirmed to be 720p months ago, where have you been? A downsized image from a video doesn't prove anything, in fact, I took a pic as well and came with the same res, blame the video player for that.:lol:

I think it might be 576p...compressed video does not change res of actual game.

My recommendation, I wouldn't put my faith in a "Forum Community Manager", even if he is Managing Alan Wake Forums. Let's just wait for Remedy to clear the air. They have all day, of course, if they don't, it's possible they have their reasons.

May can't come soon enough, HD or not, I will be playing it.

He didnt count pixels,he just said that video compression does not effect it,still im sure its sub hd.

I don't really care either way, as I can see with my own eyes that it is a gorgeous game. Beyond that, any flaws in the visuals sure as hell is not going to take away from the game itself. At least not for me anyway, lol. Carry on with your pixel counting, I just want to play the game.;)

No lvl 2,thats what you get when you delay game for almost 6 yrs.The game settings were done in 2005,it is incredible how game still looks good considering its old technology.

if remedy says it runs in 720p with 4xMsaa, then that's the resolution the game runs in, the fact that the cows are doing so much damage control confirms that this game looks awesome, not that it matters, like i said before, Ps3 owners can keep there pretty, but ultimately, totally linear games,SONY is behind the times, sandbox games are in, linear games are out of fashion, the PS3 probably couldn't run a sandbox game with the same level of graphics as AW or reach, especially with 200 AIdelta3074

Errr i am going to assume that is a crappy off screen or a terrible camera because i dont remember the game looking so horrible. Also who cares if its sub HD, if it keeps the performance up then go for it.
