If I wanted amazing graphics I'd go play outside.  I'm tired of "Woah, it looks just like real life! :o"... We sit here debating on how video games is making things you don't do everyday as immersive as real life and it's just stupid.

All Wii needs to be my faveorite system is to have a game starring Zidane Tribal of FFIX ^.^

Well almost everything that happens in  a videogame cant be done in real life....so whats wrong with trying to help to make u feel as if your there?

I have yet to meet the fan that is happy WITH ONLY A WII, this generation.

The Wii is a great Compliment system, but a terrible ONLY choice.

Well, the proof is in the pudding. When the wii stops making games look like wing island, mabye i'll believe that guy.agentfred

You can't defend something that was intentionally designed as a cheap gimmicy alternative.  The hardware of Wii cannot dream of facilitating a forth of the games on the market, yet alone even dream of being able to process some of the DX10 stuff that will come out over the next few years.  Nintendo took the low road, and sold Nintendo fans out in the same process. It may take a few years, but they will learn.

Already, many Wii fans are buyinig 360's/PS3's/PS2's, etc. It just doesn't have what it takes to be the ONLY console in the home.(Unless that family chooses to be unhappy or stop gaming.)

well hello. my name is darth pychosis (misspelled i know) and I own a DS lite and a Wii. I'm happy. I don't plan on buying a 360 coz though it has good games , alot of them will be on PC( mass effect , kotor 3, fable 2) and i won't buy a PS3 coz i'm not a moron who likes paying for overpriced 360's with half the games and a quarter of them original titles and 2 or 3 of them exclusive.

I slay lava-monsters all day long for a living.  Show a little cultural sensitivity, man.    :P

In all seriousness, though, if we're engaging in video games to somehow get closer to the ideal of saving the world and getting the princess, etc etc etc, that might be an indication that we're losing it a little bit upstairs, or possibly that we just need to connect with the real world a little more.  Romanticism is a wonderful thing, but it's much better experienced in person than in fiction.

no thanks. the DS has more AAA games then the 360/PS3 and almost as many as the PS2. That alone is better than the other options. 360 is alright but repetitive games. PS3, nothing i'm interesting in except starting a bon fire.

You've met at least one now.  And no, I do not intend to be an owner of the 360 or PS3, so you can spare yourself the time to type that out.  The Wii is an excellent only choice.  I can't play the games that the Wii has anywhere else.  That's EXACTLY what I want if I'm going to have an only choice.

I have yet to meet a person who is informed about gaming satisfied with the 360 and it is been out for a year. They have all been playing games they didnt finish from GC/Xbox/PS2. And of course the PS3 almost has like two games to play so there is no arguement there. Wii has alot of games and its library is already rivalling the 360;s year old library which is pretty sad.

I wish Factor 5 would make another Rogue Squadron game instead of this Lair crap. Rogue Squadron was sooooooo good for GC, and still looks fantastic.rykaziel

you and me both. lair looks, mediocre i guess. it might be alright. i would say the same with bioware and KOTOR but mass effect will be great for 360/PC

But if Lair looks mediocre, I would hate to see what you think about the Wii Graphics...yuck!

Hello,I'm VGobbsessor.I'm a proud Wii and DS owner,and I am perfectly happy with my Wii.I don't plan to buy a 360 or PS3 or any other console unless there are enough games that I want on them,but unfortunately,it doesn't seem like that will happen.The Wii is a great primary console,and I am perfectly satisfied.
