Consoles are different from PCs.
Everyone who buys a console like Nintendos Wii for example will get similar visual and performance experience out of the same software (SSBM) that is made for the standardized hardware. The same applies with 360 and PS3, Consoles have a standardized playing field.
PCs on the other hand are not standardized and the games or softwares visual performance can vary from PC to PC, which can change the experience and give an advantage in an online match to the one with the superior GPU or Ram. You can upgrade a PC, but cannot a console, that difference is substantial. Enough to put consoles and the standardized gaming console experiences in a different class. A different class could mean one of the three consoles could have a game that is also on PC be solely exclusive to the out of the box standardized experience. I'm not saying which is better just the differences between the two.
Yes a PC can be used as a gaming system, thus the term System wars. But the difference do exist, which is why we call a console a console, and a PC a PC and why we don't call this place Console Wars or PC Wars.
Technically no, a Nintendo fan isn't a sheep a cud-chewing 4 legged mammals related to goats but we still use terms here like Hermit, Cow, Sheep, and Lems. Why not Console exclusive?
