Killzone 3, well deserved.

In before Cowspot, Cow's Choice Awards, Cowapalooza, etc. :PnervmeisterReally? Wow..that game made no impression on me whatsoever.
if i had to rank all the games at E3 i'd say Killzone 3 would probably be at maybe... #20? no way my top pick
Exactly. Rage? Kirby? Civ 5? i mean anything really lolif i had to rank all the games at E3 i'd say Killzone 3 would probably be at maybe... #20? no way my top pick

Killzone 3 even won the shooter reader choices. And rage only got 939 votes lmao. I guess i'm not the only who thought rage was nothing special.
This aint a graphics vote. That said, I choose Donkey Kong Country: Returns over either of them (and I really enjoyed KZ2 too, BTW)Would definitely put Rage over Killzone 3. And Rage was just the 360 demo. Guarantee it looks far better on PS3.

Doesn't only have to do with graphics. Rage was far more impressive in atmosphere, graphics, and gameplay IMO.

Has nothing to do with just graphics. Rage was far more impressive in atmosphere, graphics, and gameplay IMO.
Atmosphere? Seemed rather bland to me, even for a desert setting. And the gameplay didn't exactly break the mold either. It was basically Borderlands without the RPG elements. But I will give it it's due credit in the graphics department (at least for the PC version).[QUOTE="chronocross668"]you have my vote here, Rage is very avarage shooter imo.Killzone 3 even won the shooter reader choices. Thx that means alot from a quake fan, sadly i smell another Doom3 from rage .
[QUOTE="nervmeister"]In before Cowspot, Cow's Choice Awards, Cowapalooza, etc. :PSaltyMeatballsIn before the truth then?
Let me guess if it was a 360 or wii game it would be right.
Killzone 3.. really? I mean, I liked Killzone 2 a lot, and Killzone 3 looks great, but come on..sammyjenkis898I know. I mean it looks great, but it just looks a lot like Killzone 2. Other than jetpacks, it looks just like Killzone 2 and I'm sure it plays just like Killzone 2. It's awesome for those who want more Killzone, but preferably I think the more original and unexpected titles shown off at E3 that aren't just straight-up sequels should get the better end of recognition. I'm not saying this just for Killzone 3. Games like Gears of War 3, Halo Reach and Call of Duty I wouldn't say necessarily push their franchises to new heights either, yet they seem to be all the games that people rave about.
Meh, that's like 8th or 9th for me. Just another testament to how obsessed everyone is with guns and blood.

I didn't attempt to say it was your point of view as well. Then again, you replied to my comment. I didn't think Killzone 3 broke any molds either. Which is why it puzzles me that it would win Game of Show to begin with.

I thought people were joking when they say the forums were filled with... I guess they weren't joking.

Or maybe....the people who voted thought it deserved it.
Honestly I thought Dead Space 2 was way more impressive, but that's just me.Atmosphere? Seemed rather bland to me, even for a desert setting. And the gameplay didn't exactly break the mold either. Like I said before, I pick DKC:R over both. But I can understand why some would pick KZ3 over Rage.[QUOTE="FIipMode"][QUOTE="gago-gago"]

Honestly I thought Dead Space 2 was way more impressive, but that's just me.Yeah that was 2nd for me, after Killzone and before Portal.
I would pick rage over KZ3 e3 showing.
finalfantasy94
me too
but KZ3 did look great no problem with this decision
I love my ps3 and KZ series, but the return of donkeykong and Kirby were just amazing I think DK should have won. But im happy with it.
lol at the mad people going cowspot, im sure if a non-ps3 game won it wouldnt be cowspotTintedEyes
Tell me,who in their right mind would vote for KZ3?KZ2 was released year ago,KZ3 added bigger levels, more variety and jet packs, thats it.When KZ2 was wowing the world it did not get so many awards and now when KZ3 is very much like first game and it practically wasnt EVEN mention in ANY SINGLE site for game of the year GS readers choose KZ3.The problem is that not only the competition was much better, more unpredictable but KZ3 did not even win alot of "best of ps3" awards.

Does anyone actually have proof there are more cows on Gamespot than anything else?
Bus-A-Bus
This is the proof.
Not really...
