ANOTHER blow to PC gaming! No Madden, NBA Live or GTA IV!

First Madden 09, then NBA Live 09 and now NO GTA IV. What a mess.... :cry:

.It's also good for many other genres like adventures, simulators or TBS and the more big publishers decide to ignore PCgaming, the better all the smaller devs that speciaklize in those genres will be doing

It's overall a good situation, a lot of pcgamers don't care much for stuff like Madden or GTAIV and those that do can always get them on consoles anyway and this strenghtens the more PC-centric small devs, so overall it would be good.


I haven't even finished SA on PC, I gave up on flying missions, no matter how hard I tried, even with slo-mo cheats I could never make the damn planes not go plummeting down like crazy :)

the only bad thing is lack of mods for GTA, from what I understand the modding community for those games is very strong. Actualy I think it's the only game ported from consoles that has good modding community

First of all, that quote from R* doesn't seem authentic at all. Second of all, who the hell ever cared about Live or Madden on PC?

Lay it off, guys. A PC port is inexpensive to do and could easily be handed off to one of 2K's other teams. It won't be as popular as the console versions, but it'll MAKE MONEY, which 2K DESPERATELY NEEDS. ;)dgsag

The PC has always had the most AAAs and the most exclusives and has never relied on over-commercialized crap like GTA. Why should we start caring now?

I'm not certain who said that. But does it matter though? Every format has piracy, its a inevitable. Its not just PC games or consoles, its music, movies, applications, electronic books and so forth.

I don't think any hermit would claim there is no piracy on PC, however this GTA4 situation is a great opportunity to laugh at all the poor console fanboys who claim piracy isn't a problem on consoles :D
