the ps2 is only 99 dollars...of course its going to sell well. whats terrible is the ps3...as usual. that systems needs to move units and it just ain't.

what games came out for the wii in last year.... SSBB, MKwii, okami. Its going to get sales just because there was no other games. Compare that to the ps2 lineup for 2006 where it was packed, especially around the holiday season, and it got overlooked.

No, no misunderstanding. Its just people like to call thisngs bombs when they don't chart top 10/20. Boom Blox, No More Heroes, Call of Duty World at War, The Blob, WarioLand, Tiger Woods etc. So many gmaes have poor first months and go on to sell well, its not an excuse (well madworld is), the fact that the wii has 50 million sellers is a testamnet to that. Its not ony Nintendo games that have legs, many do, its just people think top 10/20 equals all software sold. Hell, we were all declaring Deadspace a bomb and it sold 1.4 million and LBP which is well over 2 million. People seriouesly need to wait for more than a couple of months and more sales data before declaring bombs.

Pretty horrible numbers all around, but those YOY decreases are pretty bad 7% for the 360 and ouch 32% for the PS3. Pricecut or else at this point. I feel its worth pointing out that the PS3 and Wii's YOY declines were very close.

PS3 games dont sell in NA, only in EU and Japan.
