It is interesting that the group that is still the most catered to in videogames and the world for the past hundreds of years, has a loud sect that is crying injustice and claiming minority status all because a handful of games doesn't cater to their wants. I don't disagree, mostly. Unattractive faces are not exactly sought after. But the thing about not knowing their audience, not a chance. They do know the audience. They just hate them. Why? Who knows. They're weird like that. They see a lot of gamers, most of them, probably, want to see attractive faces, so what do they do? They make ugly faces. And do everything else they can to subvert common preferences in gaming. If you're not with it, then don't buy their shit. I'm not. I really like TLOU 1, but 2 was a freaking travesty of agenda-driven nonsense (though the gameplay was good). And ND has not shown that they have any interest in changing things, so I won't buy their games anymore. Simple as that. The cool thing is this kind of thinking is catching on, finally, which is why we're having Concord-like situations pop up all the time.

I think their gameplay is dope. TLOU2 sucks outside of that, but the gameplay is s-o-l-i-d. Super visceral and immersive in a way that other games just don't reach.
But yeah. The freaking jerks are always taking the controller out of your hand. Literally can't stand that crap.

No. It's going to be hated on because it's going to be another 30 fps movie game devoid of gameplay and has some generic story. It will win awards because of pretentious "journalists" but won't be played for more than the weekend of release, and primarily by omega casuals at that.
And lets not even get into the politics.
Basically myself, Pedro and Conan and a few others are about the only ones hating it for that reason. And even that's a strong word, me personally, indifferent.
Everyone else is having a nervous breakdown over a bald Asian lady acting like the world is about to end, and probably going to spend months crying about it, and even if it is good, use that as the basis to hate it using shitty angles to try mask it.
