Arguing against PC = POINTLESS

Alright so every thread I go about PC is just "PC IS THE BEST FACT" and "PC EXCLUSIVES R DA BEEEST" and "*Post Crysis pic* WIN" and "PC GRAPHICS ARE SO AMAZING" and "KEYBOARD AND MOUSE R DA BEST!!!! FACT!" and then another 10 hermits agree on these and post 30 pics of pc exclusives. If the PC is the BEST in EVERY aspect(SUPPOSEDLY FACT), then why even discuss about it in SW. If you like consoles more than PCs you will get shot down by every hermit on the forum and that's it, noone can win an argument against the PC

So if the PC is the best then arguing about it isEXTREMELY POINTLESS

Seriously these fanboys are getting really annoying.

What threads do you go in? We don't really have many irrational Hermits in SW. A few do like their PC's a *little* too much, but it's the same for everyone. Cows VS Lemmings with every multiplat release... "Harhar, mine has 5 more pixels... Herp derp!".

The PC has it's flaws, but it just has quite a number of advantages.

Agreed. PC may be technically superior, but that doesn't mean you have more fun playing it than you do your consoles, handhelds, or otherwise.

I don't think we read the same forums because the only time I really see PC gamers post is in response to someone's misinformation or ridiculous statements regarding PC.

Oh yeah... Prologue and Chapter 1 = *Snore*. Chapter 2 and 3 really starts to open it up.

I hope The Witcher 2 rectifies it (which I fully expect).

People need to feel good about their purchases, which leads to posts about how UC2 or KZ2 are graphics kings or how the PS3 is da bestest in da whole wide world.

Meh I'm sure that whichever system is best or the one who has the most quality exclusives is relevant here. Being a PC gamer I only have one thing to say to that, does the PC have every single quality game on the market? The answer is an absolute no. Short answer: If you only game on PC you are missing out on quality gaming, period, that holds true of any other platform, no matter how much you think your platform of choice is better.

No one has made a good argument about PCs against consoles, or at least I have not seen any done properly. Most of the threads take the flaws of a gaming PC and extend it to kingdom come while they take the good of what consoles offer and glorify it to no end. A lot of arguments consist of bias and preference over anything else.

It's not pointless. It's just not being done correctly.

concessions are even made by hermits. they have every right to include the entire backcatalog but to be fair they restrict the games that count to those released since the launch of the 360.

Yeah totally. The PC gamers are completely irrational for going into threads posting Crysis pics when the topic is titled "[insert PS3 game] has better graphics then Crysis!"

Well console games look ugly in pictures anyways so thats rather pointless.... But not everyone has a pc capable of playing Crysis at Max with 32XAA. At least post your own pics if you're going to brag about the game. I know I always post my own pics, it just seems logical to post your own if you're going to brag about the game being all all high and mighty.

While it is pointless to argue that PC is the best system to play games on it doesn't change the fact that the better game library is complety subjective. There's so many games on consoles that are unavailable on PC and vice versa but still, there's no point in arguing about it.

While it is pointless to argue that PC is the best system to play games on it doesn't change the fact that the better game library is complety subjective. There's so many games on consoles that are unavailable on PC and vice versa but still, there's no point in arguing about it.

Thing is they probably dont even like the same type of games. Like I seriously doubt that someone playing MW2 or Halo on the consoles even know what Starcraft is let alone even be interested in the game. And vice versa I dont think PC gamers are excited for Halo Reach.
