Well those Stalker screens are honestly the most lousy, inconsistent screenshots I've seen, recently. I'm fully aware the pc is more than capable than any console available, but lord, those screens look garbage.

Texturemaps always look good when viewed from head on. Try viewing it from the same angle as my shot. The flatness will always show up unless you have some mods that adds bumpmapping to the dirt textures. If that's the case, I want em. ;-)

I think there's a shader mod that allows POM + AF. I'll try find it for you when I get back. :)

I do, I have the Rygel texture mod on mine. Go search for it on google. ;)

These are actually old pics on my 260 GTX, and it took quite a framerate dip with anisotropic filtering up high.

The ground beneath him looks like crap, the rocks in the back of Kratos looks like crap, the fingers on the titan looks like crap, the texture on that closest tentacle with the spike looks like crap.

I like God of War 3. It has the same clean and sharp look of what I expect from PC games in addition to excellent detail and movement. Personally, I think it looks better than UC2. But, I'm partial to the Tomb Raider-type games and UC2 is the best of them so far.
