Arguing against PC = POINTLESS

Plebeian welfare machines running at mostly 720P at 30FPS are indeed pointless in the scarlet slaughter of Hardware Heaven bestowed upon "The Chosen" that allows us "Chosen" to play in 1080P+ Resolutions at 60+FPS with DX11 settings coupled with 16x anisotropic filtering combined with 32x AA.

The 8800GTS I have in my other comp that I bought in 2006 still works flawlessly.

An 8800 gts cannot run the latest titles at max settings... however the card really did stand teh test of time and can play a lot of games on higher settings still pretty well. A helluva good card if you ask me.

I had a 8800 compltely go out, and now my GTX285 randomly blackscreens . I called EVGA went over all the steps have the corrpect drivers now i gottasend a RMA.

Had to laugh on those. I had two Nivdia cards fail in 3 years. Hell the only console I ever had that was unreliable was the 360. And if you want to compare critcally acclaimed games to all the consoels well the chosen gets romped

Um you wont becaue it doesnt exist. Cards on the pc come out every 6 monthes and the problems are not near as publicized. But you can google GTX285 blackscreen problems and find lots of topics on it. Sure. Anyone is allowed to prefer a game's graphics to another. However, there is absolutely no place for discussion when it comes to the fact that Just Cause 2 on PC (maxed settings of course) has OVERALL (you seemed to have a LOT of trouble understanding this word in the other thread) superior technical graphics than GoW3.

Agreed. PC may be technically superior, but that doesn't mean you have more fun playing it than you do your consoles, handhelds, or otherwise.

Okay at first you were just saying GoW3 was superior in these fields but now you are actually saying they suck. This is telling me you've never played or actually watched full videos of Just Cause 2 on max settings. You're talking out of your ass once again.

The character model in Just cause 2 are actually not that great, although they look decent in motion. But compare to Kratos he looks bad imo. Its hard trying to compare the 2, but as far as animation go GOW3 is way ahead of Just Cause 2. What JC2 does right is having a large scale world with some very fun physics to play around with.

I ahve played both God of War 3 and Just Cause 2 on max settings on my new PC. I can tell you right now that Just Cause 2 beats God of War 3 graphically. And whats more, its an openworld game!

That's was not the purpose of those CUDA effects. At least it has descent animations where GOW3 can't even DO those CUDA effects. The PS3 would choke doing those effects. Those CUDA effects add to the environment and other aspects of the game that GOW 3 can only dream of. As such, it's an overall a better looking game.
